EXO, the vocal kings!

The thing with Seventeen is that even when they don't have so much lines in a song, you can still see them in the dance choreography a lot, for 13 members, I think the have a great line distribution. My personal faves are BTS, EXO and Seventeen. They all are amazing a really exceed in what they do. BTS has amazing lyricist, the amount of effort they put on their work is shown. Their connection is insane, I just love them. There is always a meaning in what they do, always, you can just feel the love they project to everyone. EXO has incredible vocalist, all of them, even the rappers sing, it's amazing. For me, some of the best vocals in kpop. Their live performances are insane, for real. SVT is just an all rounder group, from dancers, singers, producers, writers, they do it all. Their personalities, I think is what got them even more fans, you cannot stop yourself from getting into them. Also, their performances hype everyone, including other idols, it's a different experience.

Thank you for reacting to EXO. EXO Vocals are well known as among the best in kpop industry (they call Chen, D.O & Baekhyun as Holy Trinity 😂) Even the rapper sings as good as the main vocalist. So they have quite good line distribution among themselves (8/9 people) especially in their b-side songs & have diverse discography (r&b,funk, reggae, ballads) Fashion wise, u guys can check Obsession, Love Shot MVs where Kai is known as idol of idols & Baekhyun slayed mullet in Kokobop MV.

I am quite pleased with Melli's evaluation/score, I'm an Exo-L, Monster is a good song that shows their skills,but there are other songs much better for a beginner to listen to, like Love Shot, Obsession or Tempo ( my opinion!!) and if you go with ballads, they are leading without any doubt !! I liked your reaction though, and hope to see Melli again some other time ( maybe all 3 together?! 😊)

Eventually, I listen to other groups, but, definitely, I'm not a k-poper. The only "all-inclusive" to me is BTS. The others have good voices, some very good songs... but lack the variety, they use the same structure of the songs, making them boring after 5secs. (same as Western music). I love Shinee (I was hooked with Ring Ding Dong)! Specially Taemin (Guilty, Advice and Move are a must). Bigbang is very good, too. No hate here, ok? Just an opinion.

I hope I'm not misinterpreting your post, but if you feel that SHINee lacks variety, I would recommend listing to "In My Room", then "Password", then "Orgel", then "Excuse Me Miss", then "Sing Your Song." I think you'll find they have quite the variety of music!!

There are so many groups out there it's impossible to listen to everything, so having a favorite (or two or three) that hooked you in and only listening to them is perfectly fine. I was just suggesting that if the only reason you didn't listen to SHINee was a perceived lack of variety ("using the same structure ... boring after 5 seconds"), they actually do have a LOT of variety, more than most groups including BTS. They've been around longer, and are known for being very experimental. But again, it's art, and everyone likes what they like ... and that's what you should listen to!!!
