If you work on a 454, 400, or 500 and it needs shocks, the front Fox shocks and springs off a 1998 ZR snowmobile will bolt right up. It is amazing how much it improves the handling.

@@kountryquads9475 I was a test rider at Cat when these were made. As soon as I found out they fit I put them on 2 of my 500 4x4's. You could slide them into a corner and they had very little body roll and were even fun to get air with. As soon as I can find another one this will be the first thing I do to it.

That thing would be beautiful for ice fishing out on the frozen lakes, the racks on the front & back would be great for bringing gear out to the fishing spot you like, no matter how far out on the lake it is. @@connerb1954 I just bought an used cfmoto and then researched all of the different atv-s for a whole year. My choices would've been: 1. Honda (not so powerful but extremely reliable) 2. Can-am (most powerful, reliable but costs the most to repair and maintain) 3-4: Yamaha or Kawasaki. (also powerful and they seem to be reliable, didn't research much further because they are not really widely sold here) 5. Cfmoto, the one i got. (Reliable, cheap to buy and maintain, winches and everything included in the price. Power is less than equivelant yamaha, kawasaki, can-am. More powerful than Hondas though) This time the 2022 model. I have seen every cfmoto video out there and literally almost everyone in our country rides them. Some torture them like crazy and they don't really break. Except for the differentials or axels WHEN you use diff-lock and smash your wheels to the ground at high speed, which breaks every atv-s diffs or axels anyways.

These people that ya'll buy from are their own worst enemy. Screwing up the wiring this bad takes a knack. Thank God there is someone like you to straighten it back out. When ya'll get a new one you never know what you've got till it produces symptoms and on this one it had nuts in the exhaust till they finally blew out releasing the engine to finally run right. Ya'll thought the brakes were on for a while it was dragging so bad. That rear brake may still be dragging but ol Joe will get it sussed out.

Since you ride through the woods and fields of tall grass and other growth, you might find releasing nematodes (to kill ticks and other pests) very helpful. When I moved into my current house, I had to spray, our yard and the woods behind us, poison to kill 'em off. That was a lot of work. My son found nematodes online and released them twice, at different times during the same year and we haven't seen a single tick since and that was 4 years ago. There are different types of nematodes, so you'll have to choose the correct ones. I have the link to the site that my son purchased them, but I can't post it here. Easy enough to find with a quick Google search though.

you can use any lube or oil like that..it is just a small amount to oil the rings cylinder walls as those are dry from sitting... you don't fill it up ...then when it starts up it burns off ( so smokes abit )... best to spin the piston a few times before spark plug goes back in...and then you can fire it up... 2 stroke oil is ok in a 4 stroke in this manner...use proper oil in the engine oil gearbox
