The Garnier ambre solaire is like the only sunscreen i have found that looks amazing on the face. I mean seriously, i used to skip wearing sunscreen because nothing looked great on me, now i wear everyday with pleasure! I will try what you recommended! Also, if you have a Lidl around try the Cien 50 SPF sunscreen for kids, they reformulated the product and it kind of looks liquidy like the serum she used in the video. I have to test this!

I live in an extremely hot and humid climate, it's almost impossible for me to reapply sunscreen on sweaty, dirty face, so I go for physical shades. Firstly, I apply my sunscreen and always wear hat and sunglasses, if I have to go out after 2-3 hours of applying sunscreen then I put on a upf protected scarf, hat and my sunglasses. I know that's not possible for many people but just an option, if your lifestyle supports it.

It's miserable in Florida as well. Anything you've done literally melts as soon as you're outside... And sometimes inside IT'S SO HUMID. But you can always try to wear a hat and 😎. And for sunscreens, the only one that stays on my face but doesn't bother my skin for a long time outdoors is Neutragena sport face sunscreen. I've been wearing The One That's Got it All by Hello Sunday brand under makeup and it is a primer too. Not suffocating to wear and doesn't destroy your makeup.

The new supergoop brush is not removable now it use to be but alot of people we’re having issues with the brushes falling off. So now it is not removable and they also renamed it “re setting powder” instead of the invincible powder. They have 4 shades different from translucent, light, medium and Deep.

Lol, I too had issues with the brush popping off & had problems with the amount that came out. That's why I'd rather use my own loose powder compact container, faster & more control when applying the sunscreen powder.😉🌺

I see one annually to check for skin cancers because I’m high risk growing up at a high elevation. I never really thought to ask about other skin issues. Last week I asked about these annoying spots that are not acne. Turns out they were sebaceous hyperplasia and a little time with a laser (ouch) hopefully got rid of them. Not necessary but they bothered me so it was my choice to do that for me.

I stopped wearing foundation like 2 years ago (and you would never see me without it because i used to have acne and scars when i was younger). @@hot_salsa_dipping_sauce Honestly sometimes i think it's the expectations we set. If you always wear a full face of makeup with smokey eyes and full lips, contour etc. The moment when you go makeup free people will think you look sick or weird. It's just that comparison. But for the fellow friends i have that have never wore makeup i just can't imagine them with it, they look perfect the way they are. (And we all do for that matter) On contrary i once went out with no makeup (which i wasn't used to) and felt completely stressed about it and i had 3 guys in my group of friends tell me (without me asking) that i look so much better without makeup. But never in my life have i heard someone tell a girl that they look lazy for not wearing makeup.

Thanks! Only wear a little make up at the moment bc mask wearing, but will visit a wedding in August and this will save my skin. (trying to stay out of the sun as good as possible with spf, not possible on the wedding day of my cousin though)

I've had this question for years. I live in India and the sun is pretty bad and SPF is super important. But there's also pollution and sweaty-ness so the combination of factors makes it terrible for reapplication. I had started washing my face at work at lunch and then applying sunscreen from scratch all over again. A couple of issues to this approach - I have made a mess of my work clothes by splashing water. And I can never wear make up in the day time. This was ok when I was younger, but as I'm aging, I like some coverage, just to look a little more awake and feel a little more confident at work. I'm going to try the powder sunscreen for reapplication next time I go into the office. Thank you so much for addressing this!! ❤️❤️😭

I don’t think that is a good idea to use a makeup sponge , especially the beauty blenders . They suck up a lot of sunscreen and our skin wouldn’t be getting any. On top it’s a waste of a lot of product.

I personally use the cushion technique. Basically using an empty cushion foundation I put sunscreen inside to reapply. It solves the water issue. As for adequate coverage, yeah regardless of what method you pick if you aren't doing the full application then yeah it won't be adequate. If you want full then you have to sacrifice makeup. Personally I just sacrifice that bit of protection for it. Lab muffin beauty science does an excellent video about it even breaking down powder sunscreens and contacting the colorscience company for more info. (Spoiler: they probably don't give enough protection either) really good video if you want to know more!

I'm really concerned with "dirty" reapplication. Reapplying over "the day" of oil or dirt or pollution or germs. My thoughts is to wipe down with a toner in between ( to degrease and kills some germs). But also wondering if that consistency could damage the skin as well. Likely over thinking this but I really would love some opinions on this!

Are you wearing concealer +/- colour correction product under your eyes? I think I would still use powder + brush for around the eyes. Or I’d spray in hand and dab with my finger if I’m in a pinch and don’t have another option. However, I tend to not be using concealer around my eyes lately (generally don’t-along with foundation-in summer) I have only tried supergoop’s but a sunscreen made for around the eyes is probably the only sunscreen that won’t irritate. Theirs is tinted so no white cast.

Hi, Cassandra. Love your videos. Do you have a video on "Philosophy" beauty products? I couldn't find one and am very interested in them as my mother loves to buy their products from QVC in large quantities. I know they were bought out by Coty and was wondering if the products in your opinion met with your standards, specifically the "Purity made simple" line. Any thoughts?!?! Good, bad, horrific. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks

Great video. I would also warn people to test their sunblock and makeup together AT HOME first for a few hours. I applied a facial sunblock that I have used many times with no issue and put my everyday foundation over it for the first time, and my face started severely burning within 15 minutes. I've never had a reaction to *either* product, but when all the chemicals are combined it must have caused a different reaction. You want to be at home and able to wash it all off *quickly* if that happens :)
