It could be because of niacinamide or hyaluronic acid. Niacinamide can make me slightly red.

I am too, which surprises me because it’s so basic and “gentle.” I get a little red after applying it. I use the basic moisturizing lotion.

Since you mentioned foundation ingredients, a video on the ingredients and best picks would be great! I use the ELF Camo CC Cream and I have the Too Faced Born This Way for...well whenever I get to go back out 🙌🏼

Loving your skincare videos. I am a makeup artist and I think you are doing pretty good. Love the products you used. I personally would do your eyeliner and lashes a bit differently to enhance your beautiful eyes and the shape of them. But on the whole, you did an amazing job 👏🏼❤️❤️

That's a great idea! I always apply around 2 layers of moisturiser because i'm never sure on how much I actually need with my dry skin. YES to Cerapep!

Also the sunscreen is too little, only a dollop, compares to what we've been told to, which is two fingers long.

So many things in how you are applying your sunscreen (and even moisturizer) are so different from what we have learned: for example: 1. You rub your neck downwards as opposed to lifting it; or 2. How you apply sunscreen around your eyes and eyeylids.

I'm really looking forward to this product, as I struggle to reapply over makeup without it ruining the make up. Found a spf spray most recently but know thr ingredients are off and I shouldn't be using!! Hi Dr V, can't wait for your sunscreen! It looks awesome 👌...please consider making a powder form sunscreen also, I use colorescience brush on shield. Could you make something similar? I just find it so handy when out and about to reapply. Sometimes I wouldn't like touching my face when out shopping and not being able to wash my hands to apply sunscreen. Something to consider..❤

Honestly it does look like leaves a white cast. you are on the lighter side of brown so it may or may not leave a white cast but people like us who are more on the darker side of the brown will definitely find a white cast with your product.

I actually liked the ordinary foundation! It felt nice on my skin and didn't feel heavy. I also like the price, which was $7 CAD when I bought it.

Dr. Vanita such a useful video, thankyou for this ! What I sometimes do is mix my foundation with the sunscreen lotion and it also helps get rid of the white cast . Is this okay to do ??

I think you felt that cause of the initial cast, I haven't used inzincable but with physical sunscreens it's normal to get a cast while initially applying the product, it goes away in a couple minutes after application. That's just from my experience using zinc oxide on tan olive Indian skin...I'm a fenty 290 for your reference
