This is by a very long margin by far the best compilation I have ever come across. Not just in respect of Chomsky but of anybody or anything. I don't think I've ever learned as much in a 4 plus hour period, whilst enjoying myself at the same time, in my life. I can't thank you enough for putting the time and effort into preparing it. Chomsky is brilliant, the compilation is brilliant, what else can I say.

I love Chomsky..." If you take a look at..." We all had better take a look at. Then, " take a simple example..." We'd all better be puzzled enough to look for examples before we believe in any ole' thing. And then, " Just ask yourself..."

His biggest mistake is when he says that our thoughts and linguistic expressions are not caused by stimuli, either external or internal. By the laws. of physics they must be.

Studying animal and insect in itself is a complex challenge, the more we study one species the more we understand its connection with its world. If we are determined enough we end up studying the whole super structure. Ofcourse this study entails years and years of information gathering, yet no one study is conclusive, a new researchers always and always finds out something significant that enhances the understanding, alter firmly held assumption. Human beings are big complex than animal, he creates environments, his ability to do this makes it an multi faceted study, there is atleast a 20 to 25 spheres that are creating the human mind and human world. And we keep identifying newer keys all the time that reveal an hidden physiological activity or a deeper motivation that encourage us to keep investigating. A process that took millions years can not be revealed in one book or one study, it gets exhsustive enough for you to give up or often can lead to a mental emotional fatigue, we keep at it nevertheless. Our mystery is very much the mystery of the universe/multiverse.

According to The Urantia Book there are several stages involved in evolutionary conscious mind development that are applicable only to living organisms, which also explains how the human race evolved from simple organised plasms of micro-organisms, established in the shallow briney seas of long ago, during the Proterozoic era. This began firstly with the evolutionary conscious development of -Intuition-, which involves the intuitive urge to grow, develop and evolve, from simple to complex micro-oganisms to primitive marine vegetation, then evolving into a more prolific complexed advanced marine vegetation. Then by evolutionary mutation evolved into simple primitive marine animal organisms, during the beginning of the Paleozoic era. During this era evolutionary consciousness was to make further advances in -Understanding- and -Courage- with the appearance of early primative marine-life evolutionary mind. By the end of this era the marine-life was very prolific, the fishes and The Frogs had evolved, and the vegetation was now spreading across the land bringing in the Mesozoic era. To cut an even longer story short; the frog brought forth the dinosaurs, the dinosaur brought forth the animals, the an animal brought forth the mammals and the primates, which brought about the evolutionary conscious mind development of -Knowledge- and -Council-, which is demonstrated by the various groupings in the animal kingdom of the schools, flocks and herds. So the human race, The Twins; a boy and a girl, sprang-up, mutated from an evolved pair of lemurs, some three times removed, which were all wiped out by each succeeding generation, just north of India (not in Africa) around a million years ago. So, what I'm getting at, is that all the animal kingdom, marine land and air, have developed some type of form of communication, even if it is only sounds, signs and expressions they did communicate with each other. The Twins found it very difficult to communicate with or even advance their family to use words and symbols, having already developed a primitive alphabet. So one day when they were only about 12 years old, after their mother and most of their band had been killed off by a raiding party of Gibbons, while the males were out hunting. The Twins decided to leave home and make their own way in the world. By making this supreme free will choice The Twins advanced their evolutionary conscious mind development to the levels of -Worship- and -Wisdom-, raising them above the animal kingdom, and our world was then registered as having attained -Will Creature Status-, from which stage of development of personality is bestowed, this usually occurs around 3 years of age in modern day humans. Also, further to this the Homo-Sapiens, the colored races appeared, (again in India not Africa) around 500,000 years ago. So in conclusion, I reckon that Professor Noam Chomsky has hit the evolutionary mind development nail of mandkind right on the head, in more ways than one. What a mind that man has evolved, awesome!!... To find out a whole lot more check out The Urantia Book..... (you can read it online)

The only thing that bugs me is the reference to the freudian unconscious as, in principle, being accessible to the conscious. That is a common but gross error. Freud clearly and sharply differentiates between the descriptive unconscious (accessible to the conscious, but part of rhe pre-conscious system) and the unsconscious system, completly innaccessible to the conscious. Freud's theory of these 3 systems appears to be very similar to Chomsky's views, and in my opinion, still relevant today.

We are all the same - straight out of Africa 60k years ago. Nevermind those new articles about evidence of significant mixing with other human species outside of Africa, that's irrelevant even though it coincides geographically and chronologically with the "relatively recent mutation" chomsky labeled the Great Leap Forward of modern humans.

"we can't stop giving bankers massive bonuses, because they go elsewhere" Good. Let them. We'll do the job for everyone, not just ourselves. Learn about the authentic Spanish Revolution movement. The CNT. Anarcho-syndicalism. When the bosses and owners absconded when the people rightly, got sick of them, the everyday people chipped in with the work. Each to their own passion. Both rural and urban, it ran very well. Money didn't always have to come into it. these are all jobs we do ANYWAY. But we're free to fit in where we fit in best. So successful an experiment was it, that before too long, the Nazis, facists, socialists, communists, and capitalists all sabotaged it, and buried the chances of most of s knowing any of this.

Damnit! Forgot to add, that much of the waffle above gave background to this and the other stuff Noam goes on about. He's fortunate enough to be able to express stuff we're all waking up to. But he's able to get it across in plain talk. It's naturally very clear to him. So it's easy to take it in from him.

My #guru of 20 years professor Chomsky is not always right. Newborn pays attention to human voice, because it heard it for a few months. It is impossible to hunt without a group of people, with who you need to communicate! who will be throwing the spear first, and who will be the second, and who will be scaring the animal from the opposite side. There was a spoken #language at least 2 million years ago. And this is not my opinion. But Mr. Chomsky is convinced there was no language 200,000 years ago. Professor #Chomsky probably is not familiar with #Toba #supervolcano explosion 74,000 years ago and so cold mind’s #revolution “ after this #extinction event (turned out to be a #geneticbottleneck ). #IamBogoslowsky🦁🤴 ,

Solutions that can't happen if you don't have some knowledge of the other subject job or process . 😮
