'No Words' For Dad Accused of Murdering Boy: Mom's Friend

Ойын-сауық

Christopher Gregor is on trial for the April 2021 murder of his six-year-old son, Corey Micciolo, in Ocean County, New Jersey. Corey's mother, Breanna Micciolo, had tried to get custody of Corey suspecting he was being abused two days before he died. Gregor maintains Corey died from sepsis and not trauma to his body. Micciolo testified at the trial and has garnered support through a "Justice for Corey" Facebook page. Law&Crime's Angenette Levy talks with Keriann McManus, a friend and supporter of Corey's mom, about the trial and her friend in this episode of Crime Fix - a daily show covering the biggest stories in crime.

People need to stop blaming the mother, because, the father had legal custody. Christopher Gregor is solely responsible for his little boy's, Corey's treadmill and beating death. Blaming the mother is taking away, excusing, from Gregor's abuse, responsibility and accountability. She was denied emergency custody by a Judge. That Judge, should take time for introspection about the outcome of this case because of Corey's death. Again, Christopher Gregor is solely responsible for the death of Corey. Edited: to add beating death. I was upset when several negative comments implied or outright stated that it was the mother's fault. When in fact, it was not her fault, it was Gregor who callously murdered Corey, a 6 year old little boy, his own son.

I think the treadmill incident hurt him, but I think his father pummeled him all day April 2 after Corey had gone with his mother April 1 to the hospital when she was telling the medical professionals her son was being abused. Corey was alert, coherent and could walk well when he left his mother to walk into his father's apartment of horrors at about 9 am on April 2. The forensic pathologist talked about the cellular changes that indicated the liver and heart damage was acute, or recent. Christopher Gregor was enraged and he used Corey as a punching bag until he realized he'd better make a show of taking him to the ER the afternoon on April 2. The male triage nurse said his arms and legs were lax and did not move and when he finally saw Corey's face, he saw Corey's eyes were rolled back into his head. Remember how damning Christopher's internet searches on his phone were, too.

@@debraparker161I haven’t been fully keeping up with this case so I wasn’t sure about all the judge’s rulings. It seems quite unfair that the defense is allowed to slam the mother for her drug use but the prosecution isn’t able to do the same to the father. I understand why the judge might make certain rulings as to not prejudice the jury against the defendant, but when the defense is claiming the mother did it you would think the ruling would be more equitable about what’s able to be shared about the two parties.

My son is 6 now and he’s never come forward for him and I have tried to accept it is probably for the better after how much hurt and damage he has done to him already by withholding and keeping away. Not sure he would actually kill his son, that’s another level of evil, but he’s just as awful and toxic in every way as this man. I really hope justice is served! We live amongst all kinds of men like this and the worst part is how fooled they have people! It is so rare to see one of these covert narcs caught and in a courtroom. They get away with everything in life. They have never dealt with consequences or taken any accountability! They are living a lie and they are horrible people without a heart or a soul.

Many adults around him should be ashamed of theirselves! And held accountable! Obviously they were biased against the mom and a life was taken because of that. Disgusting.

Cory was already dying in his fathers apartment. the fact the father googled all the symptoms shows that the father has done this to Cory . Cory was sleeping because the the injuries he received must have been given to him before he fell asleep. He was injured enough that he was incontinent !

No need for a PR. Breana has nothing to prove. She’s not the one on trial. Stop reading comments left by strangers. Their only purpose is to throw shade at Breanna and support Chris. The only people that truly matter are the jurors.

This trial has been so hard for me to watch. Corey looks a lot like my 4 year old little boy and I literally don’t know how I would survive. It’s just so heartbreaking.

It's clear to see and obvious that Corey was happy and safe with his mum. Then, the so-called father comes into the equation and ends up dead. He's a beast and the parents are in denial, why not watch their son Christopher force at great speed on the treadmill. Evil indeed. Lying and taking off in his car, he knew he'd be arrested.

WTF is his lawyer talking about? They don’t let you leave the hospital if they believe sepsis is present… They definitely wouldn’t have allowed his mother to take him home if they believed he was going septic 🤦🏼‍♀️

@@gointothedogs4634 I know that, I’m genuinely just baffled that he eventually tried to make that a point in open court knowing nothing evidentiary would support it because he made it up lol.

I hope Bri knows that initially, Christopher may have had a few random supporters who were derpy enough to buy into his defense's opening statement. But this is only bc they aren't smart enough to realize opening statements arent evidence. Especially def. ones who are being paid for by the defendant like Chris is paying this angry little man he has defending him. The state however has a higher "standard" if you will; so they dont make up stuff like Chris's Lawyer did. Anyways, back to my point- since the treadmill video came out, guess what? Chris supporters are *CRICKETS* and his cheerleaders are suddenly MIA. Hmm wonder why? I hope Brianna knows that it was only his defense opening that gave him a VERY SMALL wave of support. In comparison Bri and especially Corey have a tsunami. It must be so hard for her loosing her son and on top of that to feel like the world is just judging her, and not seeing the truth! A truth that is so important. I hope she knows what I've said here. She's so lucky to have a friend like this girl in this interview. I see her in the courtroom all of the time. She's so pretty ❤ inside and out. I hope Bri also knows how amazing she is for being able to maintain sobriety in the face of such heartache. I don't even know her and I'm so proud of her! I'm rooting for Brianna and most of all....COREY. I can't wait until we never have to hear Chris's name again. Stay strong Brianna! You made it this far Mama.
