After a whole year of discovering it and not going there, I read your 7 am workout edge book and decided in February to go to a gym that opens at 6 am so I can do a proper workout before commuting and entering the workplace at 8:45. I realized that I start the day with energy that caffeine cannot fake. Even though last week I couldn't go there, I maintained a strict schedule and was motivated to finally eat healthier and not self-sabotage with fast-food and vending machines snacks. Now I'm considering quitting it for the reasons you mentioned: the commute (even though I can walk there in ten minutes and it counts as warmup and recovery), loud and annoying music, other people (although at 6 am you only find serious and dedicated users), a shared locker room, WC and showers, and having to fill and empty the bag and do the laundry. Too bad I can't find a place close-by to do bodyweight. My mentor and friend of coastal rowing said that if I want a transformation I need proper weights and machines. Full body exercises won't do. I will take your precious advice into account and see what I can improve. Thanks!

You can use gymnastics ring. You can build serious body and aesthetics look. I started with gym ring with FitnessFAQ, i see instant look and results. I'm not there where I add weight, but if I do, imagine the result. But anyway, you do you.

I really enjoy working out at home a lot, for similar reasons, you really can’t beat the convenience. I also agree with the hybrid approach of working out as both hit differently and give an edge on achieving goals.

Hi L, what kind of set up do you have at home?

It’s a really basic set up, but it works for me. I think I would enjoy adding rings to my inventory as I can tell that it takes more stability than a bar. Dip / Pull up bar inside & outside Resistance bands Dumbbells/ Medicine Ball Bench/ Squat rack

Gymnastics rings are an awesome tool you'll never regret investing in! Get a decent one (one with quality thick buckles) and it will last you a lifetime! 💪🏼

If you have any recommendations on what brand of gymnastics rings, I would appreciate the advice. I feel like it would be a new challenge for me and I really like the idea of using them in multiple places, I love training outdoors.

Hey BL, just saw this. They are barefoot shoes by Xero and the model is called Forza! Although I'm not a fan of using barefoot shoes too much outside on pavement, they're great for home workouts!
