thank you so much for your vid i was in real despair been doing a load of work on my xt 250 and i couldent get a spark ordered a new coil that wouldent work put my old one back on ! doing me head in at this point .came across your vid and you pointed out the obvious one the kill switch i totally overlooked this ,i stopped you vid dashed out tried it da raaaaa ! so thanks i thought i might be looking at a new cdi unit .sometimes we overlook the obvious expecting the worse ha ! so thanks for that cheers .I love you tube what a library ,keep em coming many thanks .Ant from wales UK .

@@jaylonmoody9301 Id got the wiring wrong on main harness it was old and couldent tell the colours apart ,my friend sorted it using logic lol.

I have a 1982 Suzuki sp125 that will only spark for two kicks then nothing until you let it sit and come back to it. The it will spark a couple times and stop again. Anyone have any ideas?

Use multimeter to check if your harness for the stator/pickup coil is within your bike's specifications, if less or greater resistance of Ohms, then replace. If your bike has a starter relay solenoid unit (usually where the neg terminal goes straight from the battery), may want to test the diode on that too. Finally, check and make sure your ignition coil(s) are within spec too not just the wire connection but the boot's connection as well. And then the spark plug itself.

Brand new dirt bike it shut off in fourth gear and wouldn’t start thought I flooded engine but I checked plug and no spray what so ever change spark plug and no help same issue have no tools to diagnose the issue far as electrical wise checking resistance etc please help have pictures of stator as well

I have a 400 foreman 1998 Honda Atv was starting but not charging , charged up battery and tested ok it ran yesterday no problem , today , I found the battery dead , I recharged it , turned on key , pressed the starter button it cranks over perfectly but only fires at the first of the crank and when I let off on the starter button , what's going on .tying advance

Maybe take care of the charging problem ASAP and then check other things like ignition coil/CDI etc. It can't be usually repaired over the Internet that easily. There are other symptoms you'd have to take into account and repair the ATV as a whole. The repair manual of the Honda is a really good source for information on how to do diagnostics and repair your machine. Highly recommended. ;)

No worries. I ride it mostly because it was relatively cheap. It's a good bike too but not comparable to the new trials bikes.

i ve used Gasgas and VOR bikes in the past, lot of problems in all parts around the bike.. now i prefer honda-yamaha-kawasaki and sometimes ktm...

This has actually a Chinese four stroke dirtbike ignition on it. Someone has hacked it on there. Right now the bike works pretty good. ;)

So I’ve done cdi box ignition coil and checked kill switch i have a 1998 yz250 any ideas why it’s not getting a spark

When the alternator goes can it cause to blow a 10a fuse ?

I'd imagine yes because too much voltage can fry the fuse.

I have a Schwinn sport scooter and I replaced all the electric components and still have no spark I also replaced all the fueses. Please help

I recommend buying a service / repair manual for the scooter and troubleshoot according to the given info. Helps a lot!

So I had my dirtbike blown and then I unplugged the boot and plugged it back in and it started for a second hesitated then shut off what's my issue ?

hey. Mine friend got 2002 Yamaha blaster 200. it got problem, but no one know how to fix it,maybe you can help? when cold it starts in first kick, you can ride for 10min then it gets hot and bogs down. wait few mins and it starts again like new. ride 5mins and bogs again. we tried New plug New ignition coil, cleaned carb, checked all filters, when it stalls it does have spark, but it wont start until it sits for few mins :D

Um, I'm no engine expert, but I suggest checking the crankshaft seals too, since it's two stroke (looked it up, should be two stroke). But everything should be checked anyways. :D Can't help you from a distance, bro...

Hi Man I saw your video , I'm from the Netherlands I have a problem with my 2012 can am spyder I have no spark the bovine seems to work fine so I think might be baterry but I put my BMW X6 v8 and still no spark I check all cables an fuses but still no spark . I'm not a mechanic so I can only recommend finding information from the factory manual. It has helped me a lot!

I love watching your videos and you post great stuff but, all the jump cuts ruined the video IMO. I know it's your channel and you run it how you want and that's fine but watching this was (really hard to explain) uncomfortable to say the least. I'm not putting you down or anything I just wanted you to know from my point of view. Other people may love the jump cuts but it's not for me. I almost quit watching. Your doing a great job and I'm glad to see you got your bike running again.
