    1. Anejo Highball 40 mL Anejo Rum 15 mL dry orange curacao 10 mL lime juice double dash angostura bitters top with ginger ale/ginger beer Garnish orange slice lime wedge 2. Bourbon Highball 50 mL Bourbon 25 mL lemon juice 20 mL simple syrup top with sparkling water Garnish orange wedge 3. Gin and Tonic Al Fresco 40 mL Gin 20 mL potable bitter 2 dashes orange bitters top tonic Garnish mint lime cucumber 4. Paloma Al Fresco 40 mL Reposado Tequila 35 mL pink grapefruit juice 35 mL pineapple juice 5 mL lime juice 15 mL simple syrup top sparkling water Garnish pineapple leaf grapefruit wedge pineapple wedge 5. Green Tea Highball 50 mL Japanese Whiskey top with sweetened green tea soda (add sweetener to tea and soda stream) Garnish mint spring cucumber slice

    Always a great day when we get a vid from you guys, keep ‘em coming! :) Loving the two whiskey ideas, will be trying out tonight! I’ve been making a sort of highball Black Manhattan as the heat is going up, equal parts Averna & Rye whiskey, top with Tonic water, express and discard an orange peel. I add a barspoon of simple for balance every so often but it doesn’t really need it.

    If you ever do another subscriber video here’s one for you... Name: Voodoo Doll Ingredients: 25ml tapatio blanco tequilla 12.5ml apprendiz mezcal 12.5ml velvet falernum 12.5ml fresh lime juice 25ml cardamom and turmeric infused agave** (recipe below) 1 whole egg 1 dash angostura bitters Technique: Dry shake Shake over ice Fine strain into coupe Garnish with a streak of angostura bitters Cardamom and Turmeric agave prep: - For every 100g of agave add 100g of water and being to a simmer in a pot - For every 100g of agave and water mix., add a teaspoon of turmeric and 4-5 cracked cardamom pods. - Ensure mix is hot but do not boil. - Leave mix over night or for 24hrs to infuse and then strain into glass bottle.

    Saline's great to enhance any natural flavor. Some scotches have a natural saltiness that you can capitalize on like Talisker.

    "BUT THE PALOMA ISN'T A HIGHBALL :D" But overall said, good stuff! Simple concoctions are too often overlooked. They're literally simple & tasty to make. The añejo version - for me - felt like something I could recreate easily.

    The problem with the juice Paloma is that it lacks the depth you get from the grapefruit peel. Even a cheap grapefruit soda like Fresca or Squirt is better then just juice, and if you get a really good one like San Pellegrino Pompelmo is incredibly great.
