this reminded me of when I did the 100 push ups, sit ups and squats for a whole month and recently I tried doing 100 push ups again and I was struggling with the last set specifically the last 3-4 reps haha

HAHA! Yep! All this is making me seriously reconsider the whole "30 Day Fitness Challenge" idea to begin with. Even with my own 100 pushups a day for a year challenge, it was great while I was doing it, but after like 3-4 days of non-training the habit is almost gone completely. Finding an "exit strategy" where you continue to train at least 1x per week to maintain the gains seems like a reasonable approach. Easier said than done, I suppose. Then again, better even to begin with would be to have a balanced routine where all muscle groups + cardio + flexibility + mobility + balance + SAQ are trained 1-3x per week (depending on muscle groups and personal goals) haha. But I digress...

Got wrist injury for 2 month and my complete workout was 60% lower. But after 2 weeks I got the same workout as before and stronger. Don't quit because u think u are loosing all your gains. The memory effect kicks in after u start training 2-3 weeks and because u rest that much u come back stronger.

Wow that’s crazy Jack! However as quick as you lose it you can gain muscle back just as quick with muscle memory! Enjoy the noobie gainz again. 😀💪

Hi, Alek.Fitness! 👋😀 Thanks for watching and commenting. I use the TASCAM dr-10l lavalier mic. It's a little pricy ($200+ or so) but totally worth it. It's really taken my audio game up a notch and makes my videos more professional sounding. And congrats on your first pullup! That's incredible and I am super happy for you! Best of luck on your 50 day challenge. I'll be rooting for you. Do let me know if you have any more questions along the way.

I can do around 6 pullups, but I am worried that I will lose strength since I'm gonna be on vacation for 3 weeks. Is there any excercise that I can do to not lose as much strength?

You have muscle memory so you can easily gain that strength back.

OK name this movie. "Is it true that if you don't use it you lose it?" "is that a serious question?" "No. No it wasn't." Totally irrelevant to your awesome video btw, but now I know the answer lol

Hi, Lakshay Styles! 👋😀 When it comes to strength, you really do lose it if you do not lose it, ESPECIALLY when you are a noob like me. I ended up taking about 3 months off of doing pullups due to some nagging pain + increased work stress, I am back at it again now, and I'm curious to see how quickly it will come back!
