I still struggle to get a darkstep. The only times I get it are by chance when I'm close enough to Henry, but even then, he's too fast for me to land a hit even with darkstep, so I often end up continuing to dodge instead of attack. Henry on Bitter is the only boss I can't efficiently deal damage against let alone kill. And it's killing me...

@@Made2Slash I didn't think dark step would be so easy to do until I fought Henry. Then I kicked myself for not trying it on Jeane.

Every time he started his long ass combo thing I would just spam right, and I would consistently dodge his 4th slash every time. Taking every opportunity he got dizzy to suplex and evading/reacting to his unblockables helped me beat him in no time.

@@TheCrimsonKodiak You can’t dark step Jeane , just use charge attacks and it’s pretty easy

I thought the game was glitching out Henry was taking barely any damage compared to my fight with him on mild. Henry on Bitter difficulty is just an endurance round also I wasn't getting any stuns on him at all like on mild.

Take a shot every time he Darksteps.

Godly.

I can't wait to no DMG Henry myself I got pretty damn close taking only 2 hits so yea I know I can do this But man great run (and what a fantastic game)

When I defeated Henry on Bitter it took me 1300 hits to do. I feel this is beating Henry in Mild mode. I died four times in my attempt. Two of those were heartbreakers in that I was within 50 hits of beating him and both were back-to-back. The struggle for me was holding the controls for that long of a time. My hands started aching at the 400-hit mark and my hands started shaking at the 800-hit mark. Lot of using the plus pad for dodging. Oh, the damage I took! Henry did a lot of cheap shots to get his licks in. Part of what makes this battle difficult is the small area. Get into a bad area and the camera view made avoiding hits difficult. Best of luck to anyone attempting this.

Seven hundred hits...

If you wanna beat Henry without getting hit on bitter, you should do what this guy does. Most of Henry’s unblockable attacks are very quick and give little time to react, so you should always emergency evade after finishing a combo. Opportunities for dark steps can happen a lot, usually when Henry starts his long combo. Remember that dark steps interrupt enemy combos, which means free hits.

He's the final boss for a reason. The fake final boss before him takes much less but instead (unlike every other enemy in the game) actually dodges your attacks and does so really well. Bitter mode is also explicitly the hard mode. Henry is basically an exact copy of Travis in regards to his moves, but with added ranged attacks to keep you from hit-and-running, forcing you to deal with him at saber range. He also has the quickest one hit kill in the game.

I remember when I was a kid each attempt to kill him would average to be like 30 minutes. That's attempt, not kill. It took me hours to finally get him but it felt great. This game was the shit.

Not possible if you equip the blood berry right before you fight henry it will force you to use the final katana weapon... the good news no more heroes is coming to steam tomorrow they will have a chance to mod the game and possibly have the blood berry weapon while fighting The True Final Boss Henry Cooldown.

1:19 Anyone thinks the developer would have made that a one hit decapitation if they wanted to?🤔🙁 3:26 Travis was not cut but ANY of Henry’s Blades 😐😐😐

13 minutues for bossfight is still a shitty gamedesign. I don't understand why they make Henry's health so strong, because he even not using new attacks after loosing a half of it. He is just one repetative shit where you tired of repetativeness before can beat him.

​ @ChiefMedicPururu Boss game mechanics doesn't change from easy to hard. It's still shitty boss that lives 15 minutes under player attacks. Yes this is shitty gamedesign.
