Digital Minerva she draws a lot of anime characters which are Asian which have lighter skin tones, I think she picked up plenty of darker skin tones. Idk what people are complaining about.

Well I am from india . And in india art supplies are very expensive.

So I see a lot of you saying you wish you had the money to do This, and while I can’t help with money I can give some advice on what I’ve been doing! I’m from America so copic markers are VERY expensive (much more then japan I’ve noticed) so what I tend to do is every pay check (or whenever I feel I’ve got some extra money) I buy a couple! I try to look for sales too! So far over around 3 weeks I’ve bought 15 markers in 3 different trips! One trip I found a combined pack with pastels and liners and a book and sketch book! They were having a sale where if you donated 5 dollars you could get a bunch of things on sale! That pack was 25 dollars!

@euriio So a 36 pack is $287.64 so $7.99 for each marker without any sale and even with a code it would be 20% off, though it would still cost about 6>?(closer to 6 but more) for each marker. That’s just what my prices are in Colorado, US

Also, if you have a Joann Fabrics, Michaels Crafts, or Hobby Lobby, they regularly put out 40/50% off one item coupons. Joanns will also take multiple with different SKU #s and competitor coupons. Buy a couple markers at a time, and youre getting them for half off.

Use spectrum noir Affordable Cheap Great blending ability MANY many colours A lot of sets Fun to draw with Brush markers Hard tip markers If you need help i like to use spectrum noir clasique it has Hard tips and great blending I belive the brush markers are called spectrum noir illustrator

The more "circley" ones are the new Copic refill shapes. They redesigned the refills with a whole new barrel shape but I believe now there is less ml in each one.

When I started my art career as a teenager I remember how amazingly exciting it was to get taken to our local art store. Even if I didn’t need much , just experiencing the sites and smells of all that was there was a thrill. So I understand the excitement she displays.

Japan has the best art supplies! Hahah. Looking forward to seeing what those clear crayons look like! If I could, I would just order all my art supplies from there, but sadly I live on the other side of the world and have to make do with some things I can get online that don't have crazy shipping costs. There are only a couple of art supply stores where I live; a few Michaels stores and one (maybe a couple others I am not aware of) smaller locally owned art store(s), which I try to support, but I haven't been going out much with everything happening right now.
