The unicorn swimsuit one is definitely the main protagonist of an anime. She has the "I wear what I enjoy and I don't care who knows" vibe.

10:00 this is why I love watching Minori's art so much! I relate to her A LOT in art. I also thought that she should use green for the sandals and blue for the swimsuit, and just like her, I felt like the sandals turned out to be bad but THIS IS THE FUN OF CHALLENGES right! Anyways, I'm looking forward to more videos like this one Minori! I love when you do these kind of different challenges!

This is such a fun and creative idea! I hope you'll do it again. The third character turned out super cute. As for the topic of diversity, it would be great to see a wider range of skin tones for your characters. And of course there's nothing wrong with drawing the themes you like!

I'd love to see you draw animals sometime, but if you're transitioning from girl characters to boys, you could try aliens! A diversity of skin tones, shapes, sizes, clothing types. The "basic" alien shape is that "little green man" shape which seems basic to draw. That might be a fun video 😊

I really like how all three of them turned out. Also, for more diverse characters, you should draw character with different abilities. Like, draw a character in a wheelchair, a blind character, etc

This is such a cool and unique idea! I dont think I’ve seen anyone else do this and even with these random colors you make the best of it!

I think this video would make a great series! You can experiment with different mediums too (poscas, acrylic paint tubes, mixed media, etc .) or even which one would control your drawing (perhaps Lavi could) ! Anyways, love your videos Minori!

Minori, I think with the swimsuit drawing, the thing that is difficult is that the green is very warm and the blue is very cool. Sometimes leaving such a solid warm tone at the bottom of a design can be off putting. If it had been me, I would have swapped the colors so the sandals were blue and the outfit was green. The other thing that could have been cool is if you layered the colors on the design, as in interchanged the ruffles from blue to green and then did the same with the ribbons. But still, your art is so good. The first one was just so pretty and I think it gave off the right idea.

I think the obsession over diversity can go a little too far sometimes, of course it's always great to challenge ourselves but speaking as an artist you really have to draw from your own fountain of inspiration if we let ourselves fall into pleasing everyone too much that's when we start dealing with artist block and burn out. That being said I've SO MISSED your drawing videos! They are my favorite and why I originally started following you. It was good to see one again and I loved how you mixed it up with the crane game machine. 👏💓🤣

I agree. So many people are trying to force diversity on her for some reason? I don't really understand why people are finding issue with the things she draws and chosing her specifically to push for diversity. Maybe because they want to see themselves in her art? But, I don't think it's really fair. Seeing Diversity in art would be lovely but artists should be allowed to draw what they would like, within reason of course, but pushing people to include everything and everyone, when they may just want to draw specific things for fun, can cause someone to burn out super fast and not enjoy art.

Exactly, and just people forcing diversity on artists in general, I can only draw two body types without it looking really bad, so it’s kinda annoying when people force diversity on others. Minori’s art is super adorable, and she doesn’t need to change anything, the same cam be said about every artist, all art is beautiful and nobody should change what they do because people can suck

I have to say that I love the hair on the first drawing (lavender teacher's pet). I think it turned out great! I do like that you are being taken out of your comfort zone with this challenge. Would love to see you do more of these.

The maid is so pretty! She kinda looks like a girl I'd expect to see in a maid cafe. I hope you'll draw her again sometime! Also, the capsules giving random ideas is so awesome! You could make each color be a different category, for example all blue capsules are physical features, the green ones are clothes and clothing styles, yellow is a personality trait (ideally those that could be reflected into a drawing such as bookworm, artistic or rebelious) and red are origin (for example japanese woman or greek man - which would also add some more diversity into the drawings if that's something you really want, although I still think you should be the one to choose whether you want that or not; they could also contain fantasy-inspired origins). That way, you could go for one of each and have a random and complex character. Oh, and you could choose your own colors (which might be better since getting weird color combos at random could ruin a really nice drawing). Anyway, whatever way you decide to go about it, I'd love to see more "crane game chooses what I draw" challenges. They're quite fun!

Minori your first drawing reminded me of REM with the hair color. The second like you said, was OK and finally the third was OMG amazing. You have great talent. Keep up the stellar artwork. You could even design clothing or even future figures for anime.

What a clever way to challenge yourself. All of these drawings look so good. I would’ve suggested for the school girl one making her outfit that lavender color, but the hair works too. A couple of themes I think would work would be high school and witch. Like in “The Craft” or “Sabrina the Teenage Witch”(1990s). Also, if you were thinking of making more shrinky dink keychains I made some designs of Harry Potter characters based on your Hermione. And I can send them to you for inspiration.

This was a great video! I really enjoyed watching it! For future games, you could always put color swatches in the eggs with the color number so you aren't having to switch them out every time.

Some theme ideas Mermaid cats Magical deserts Alien talent show And don't worry to much about diversity, it comes naturally over time. The more art techniques you master. The easier it becomes to draw other stuff. Like environments or people.

Don’t force her if that’s what she draws then let her draw it if you want different skin tones so much than draw it yourself

Honestly, don't worry about the people crying over "diversity". It's your channel, your hobby, your art. Draw whatever the heck you want!

Draw what you know and love. You can't please everyone. This is your channel. Don't let your audience tell you what to do. Plus you should only draw what you are comfortable with and what you know how to draw best. Don't draw things that you don't want to. It'll ruin art for you and make it so that it's not enjoyable for you. Look at Ross Draws and Sam Does Art, they only draw girls because that's what they know and love the most. Don't feel that you need to please everyone.

She lives in Japan where there isn't very much diversity and so she isn't exposed to different cultures and pocs very often. People should just let people draw what they want to draw. Being forced to draw something will take the love out of art for the artist.

Yeah exactly this. I don't really understand why they are really trying to get her to be more diverse? People are allowed to draw specific things for fun, and a big audience of people telling you over and over to do diversity to where u feel bad that you didn't this time around, kind of sucks. If she wants to draw girls more than boys, she should be able to. There's tons of artist who only draw one or the other.

Regarding the diversity and probably because I am a guy myself: It would be very cool to see more male characters without standarized roles or clothes. So for example, you could've made the teachers pet a guy with a ponytail. Or an androgynous person in a unicorn swimsuit. The clothes and hairstyles should really not define what gender a character has :D Especially if it's a made up character. Besides that, I think it would be nice and sometimes easier to draw multiple characters. For the teachers pet for example, I personally would have drawn a second person (the teacher) maybe talking to the girl or looking proud/pleased with her, to make it more obvious, that she is a teachers pet.

Haha the game didn’t want you to leave 😂 it gave you good picks in the end haha… i loved this video!! I think the first one looks super nice!! The last one as well! The second one was nice too! (Maybe with the colors placed somewhere else it would of worked better).. but i loved this when me and my sister do this you always have to put creepy in our themes or Disney theme (for example would be maybe you get Alice you have to basic it off a character or just something that will resemble something from the movie)

Last one was so good 👌 I also have a crane game but mines smaller and more plastic than medal, still works tho
