I hope you gave the old girl a bit of a kick for the long service interval. If it was me doing the service & I knew it was a year ago, I would have done an engine flush. Hopefully you can do that to Grandpas car when you get back to it. I usually do an engine flush every 9 months if you're doing the service a 3 month intervals. Good video for those who own a Snail-trail.

how come you use that oil, i just bought 5w 30 for a t31 diesel 2.0 and you scared me, is that one petrol or something?

Just to note the 2.0 dci engine takes 7.4 litres of oil, im guessing this is a petrol version?

Nar sure mate depends on your engine condition and where your located i use the Penrite app to work out what i need to run
