I got lucky and grabbed one from Bosch Servive Solutions for about $1000 back in December. It was supposed to arrive summer but came early in January. Someone commented that Bosch Service Solutions is restricting the Vi3 interface only to dealers now. I think this is for the interface only and not the package.

Apparently R2R only gives diag for 2018 and newer cars, PCM flashing for 1999 or newer, VIN changing for 2018 or newer. Unless working on 2018 + might not be worth it because the flashing can mostly be done with NERS 3.08... Good video

Thanks for the help with the drivers. Have you tried to use the VI3 as an OEM tool for Infinity or Mitsubishi since you selected Nissan when installing? If so, did it work without changing anything?

yes I have. You don't have to change anything.

Why not replace the ECU with the Autel scan tool ? Unless it was a new one and you needed the OEM software ?

Actually that VI3 is better than the VI2 and it runs consult 3 plus full features not just r2r (which sucks). It also does Mitsubishi which is a nice bonus. Lucky you got it at the mistake price. They made that same mistake with the VI2 years ago.One day they were 1100 and you could get them anywhere. then the next day they were 2400 thru Nissan Tech Mate only. Same thing here i guess because now they want you to call for the price first.

Good morning. My Name is Winston. I am thinking about getting into some Nissan ECM & TCM Programming. I did look at your Nissan VI3 Tool. I am checking on where is a good place to start. Also i am looking at pricing and Device - Driver. Is the Nissan VI3 Is the Nissan VI3 Is a stand alone devise? The vi3 of on back order now. My advice to you is to put an order from now and wait for it. If you gonna do that don't put order online. Call them and place an order over the phone. Their site has a glitch on it. If you pay it will take the money but not assign an order number.

Hi, how did you buy it because it’s selling only for dealers?

It wasn't. Not it is because they stopped selling it to the aftermarket businesses. They do only to nissan dealers now. I will be posting more programing videos in the channel.
