I think it's amazing how 30 seconds of Sonic Frontiers in Nintendo Direct was so much more fun and managed to show the concept of the game better than 3 entire videos from IGN.

Mario Kart Wave 2 is all that matters

I literally shed tears for the Megaman Battle Network Collection. My gameboy got me through some tough stuff as a child, and I was obsessed with the Battle Network games. The third title is probably one of my favorite games of all time. I've been wanting this collection for so long. Capcom just knows man, they just know. They're not perfect but they'll always by my favorites.

Ha! It was a good 'Stay away!' warning to me as although I kind of enjoyed the main Dragon Quest demo I find the music so overbearingly appalling in its relentllessly parpy jolly way that I just couldn't bring myself to buy it. I'd have to honestly say it's the worst music in an ongoing series I'm aware of. It actively chases me away from all the titles.

I’m so excited for so many of these, but PAC Man world re pac is the one I’m looking forward to the most. Soooo many good memories of it from when I was a kid.

I don't care what anyone says, this mini direct was AMAZING. I cried when I saw MegaMan Battle network. That was my childhood. Then they showed that Pacman platformer remake and I was hooked! Mario Rabbids looked even better than the first one. Sonic Frontiers doesn't seem to be on the cloud thankfully, which was rumored. And Persona 5 Royal's coming to switch!!!!! I've only owned Nintendo, so this is a dream come true!!

I think it's a similar thing with Battletoads 2020 when they first showed it off where it looked bad because they were showing the slower sections of the game, and similarly had sonic running around an empty field

The Megaman Battle Series Legacy Collection is actually an incredible value for how detailed and flushed out each Battle Network game is! If Capcom splits the collection into two volumes, volume 1 has GBA games that are over $75 US each. Day 1 purchase, Appreciate you Capcom.

It's missing Double Team DS, which had upgraded sound and music over the gba. There was also the Network Transmission game for Gamecube, not seen here.

You could have told me this was a normal direct and I still would have been happy. There is a very solid lineup here and even if some of these aren’t for you there’s a good chance you are really excited about at least one of these games.

I smiled so hard seeing that Pac-Man World is coming to the switch. I have my dad's old PS1 and play the game but it's hard seeing it. But it's so fun. Seeing a free world sonic was so exciting to see

I wasn’t expecting to see Shagaru already, I’m hyped!

The ones I'm excited for are Mario+Rabbids, Sonic Frontiers, and Portal! Definitely the best parts of this mini direct. Pac-Man World and Blanc looked good too!

*The Mega Man Battle Network Collection is a dream come true.*

Dragon quest treasure looks like an odd open world monsters spinoff, pretty excited. Seems like they took the monster collecting to the next level by making the whole game about collecting stuff like treasure which also gives you things to aim at in the world

Don’t get me wrong, I loved Pac-Man world as a kid but I never knew it was popular enough to warrant a remake

That Square Enix life sim game actually looks dope, hadn’t heard about that before! And the dragon quest game seems exciting and fresh :)

Genuinely surprised and delighted to see this direct. I came in with my expectations low, but I am actually quite happy to see many of these titles get announced, and learn of a few new indie games along the way.

I'm only interesting is the monster Hunter rise DLC and the Sonic frontier and Mario and rabbits and persona 5 Royal and the other two persona games but I already have persona Royal on the PlayStation 4 and persona strikers but it's only PS Plus

I know it's been roughly 2 weeks since this direct, but I'm curious as to what games y'all are excited for. I'm excited for Blanc, Disney Dreamlight Valley, and Live A Live.

MEGA MAN BATTLE NETWORK LEGACY COLLECTION!!!! Never saw that coming but I’m so HAPPY !!!

This was honestly a very solid little direct! I wasn't expecting too much but here i am very pleasantly surprised about like half of these announcements.

The last announcement was the highlight for me, now I can finally play 3

I am HIGHLY interested in the Megaman collection. Some of my favorite GBA games ever. Return to Monkey Island could be interesting and just hearing the music is really nice. I like the style but it's a pretty big change from what I'm used to seeing. Kenta looks really charming and adorable. I adore the concept. Dragon Quest Treasure seems like a real blast. I love being able to fight alongside companions. It makes me miss Dragon Quest Monster: Joker. There's a lot of promise coming up but. Nintendo please. It was a huge 3DS hit. Please remaster or remake Tomodachi Life!

Persona 3 Portable is a much needed port. PSP copies of the game go for $200+. Same thing for Battle Network collection. Battle Network 6 alone is $80

Dragon Quest Treasures is better

Oh my goodness! My first thought that was Monkey Island when I saw the trailer start, but didn't believe it! I can't believe we're getting a new Monkey Island game! What a blast from the past! I did not see that coming! Also, I'm glad Persona 3 and 4 are getting ported! I've been wanting to play those for so long since I missed out on them!

I'm excited for Live A Live. Pretty glad that there is a demo for three of the chapters. Really love that Companion Collection announcement being GLaDOS just hacking into the presentation

I have been looking for a coop game for my brother and I, and Blanc is absolutely perfect. My brother loves wolf's and animals, and I love the beautiful stylish graphics. And I am getting more hyped for Sonic Frontiers now, the cyberspace levels look gorgeous.

Was excited for Live a Live but as a Square Enix fan, I NEVER expected them to get into the life sim genre, but look at that; I want Harvestella now

That sonic frontiers trailer was actually dope. The cyberspace levels look cool, and I don't really care about the green hill zone remake. No doubt a lot could need to be worked on for the game, but it kinda gives me hope. And that final cutscene with sonic ready to fight that giant enemy was just the cherry on top.

Not really a big sonic fan, but im slowly getting into the series. Seeing frontiers stuff was really cool, though, i wonder what the game will be like when it comes out, it looks really promising. I don't get why green hill zone is so frustrating to everybody, though, i dont see anything wrong with it.

@@Thero_64 It has been in every game in some capacity for the last 10 years or so. People have no issues with the zone itself, just with it being reused so much. There are many really good zones with amazing aesthetics in the series that they could be using too, and new things are always welcomed.

Makes sense, but it doesnt look like green hill zone will be the main focus, it seems like some kind of bonus level, or something. Weird calling it a bonus level considering the game isn't really "level based" but, whatever.

Far more better than being live. Instead of wasting 30mins, i can watch 3 minutes of what i actually am interested in

Just don't watch it live and wait until it's published as a VOD then lol. It's a shame we aren't getting live directs now; Nintendo is yet another one of those cases in gaming where I've become desensitised by disappointment.

I don’t like that it started early for one thing can’t they see that some gamers need beauty sleep like Jesus can you start at the afternoon or something Nintendo

This had to be one of the best partner showcase Nintendo presented in awhile with Capcom,Sega/Atlus,Square-Enix, with alot surprises.

mega man battle network legacy collection... whoa!

I just hope that each part of the megaman battle network legacy collection has all games 1 through 6, but different versions, instead of one having 1 through 3 and the other one 4 through 6 with all versions -.- Given multiplayer the former would make the much sense

Considering that this was a direct mini AND that it was a partner direct, this wasn't half bad. I give it a solid 7/10, pretty good.

I’m afraid E3 is going to be a dinosaur because the big 3 console developers and a lot of famous third party devs are leaning towards having more of their own conference shows like Nintendo because it’s not overly difficult to record them and post them online. Also we’re in an age now where a lot of us gamers want to just see the games that are coming out in the near future and not the advanced hardware that our consoles are running on. For some of us that’s the last thing we ever think about. Gameplay trailers and reveals are what we want for right now until a new generation of consoles are revealed.

I suspected it was coming simply because it was revealed for Xbox a couple of weeks ago, but the Persona announcement still got me SO hyped!!! I FINALLY get to play Persona 5!

Fingers crossed hoping for a Chaotic Gore Magala to make its return as well.

This is actually better than what I originally thought it would be, that Mega Man Battle Network collection just came out of nowhere. Fantastic indeed. Also glad the Persona games and Dragon Quest Treasure are coming.

I’m happy for the battle network games (kind of surprised Star force wasn’t added to it but I guess they’re different) but I hope capcom actually adds some sort of multiplayer to it even if it’s just local multiplayer between two switches being next to each other.

Super excited for dragon quest treasures! Eric was my favorite character from DQ11, plus we finally get to experience the adventure he and his sis said they’d someday have! :D

That was a top tier mini direct.
