It's just that after the pandemic started the Nintendo president was still saying in investor meetings that the pandemic was causing no delays (at that point). At least not for the year. And I can imagine thiw just beimg their year. Underwhelming imo, but Nintenei has years like that sometimes. Oh, and there was info that they wanted to try this new format without Directs. Might have been their intentiom anyway.

@@samus8163 Earthbound Beginnings 30th anniversary just happened and we didn't get it over the course of the NES online service so far, even though we're a year in. I doubt they're going to rerelease it or its sequel even though it was also Earthbound's 25th anniversary. They either are making a trilogy remaster, or they don't care.

@@greenkidd529 The only negative is the opening music in Tooie isn't properly timed to the action as the N64 original took the framerate lag into account for the music timing, but even though the Xbox 360/One version fixed the framerate they didn't retime the music.
