Mildly shocked they didn't consider adding Twilight Princess HD or Wind Waker HD. I hope they do eventually. It would be nice to be able to play all the 3d Zeldas on one system.

Considering they finally moved onto porting over N64 games, the GameCube would be next for porting. I’d prefer that as I didn’t play a lot of N64 compared to Gamecube xD Would also love GB, GBA, and DS ports, maybe 3DS too since the shop is closing down

Not only was there promise for one of my favorite game series of all time getting a new game already (Rune Factory), but one of the first games that I fell in love with and got me into gaming- other then Pokemon lol... is getting a remake (Harvest Moon: Story of Seasons). Not to mention a lot of these newer games that were announced look really interesting! I'm so happy right now :') (Now I just really hope that the Harvest Moon remake is actually good! I'm a tad bit worried because of the more chibi cute style when I actually really loved the original style of the game quite a bit.)

You can homebrew your switch and do that

On mobile the direct starts playing at 29:35 but anywhere else the audio starts playing at 0:00 even though the video still doesn't start until 29:35. So if you don't watch it on your phone the first half hour is audio-only I guess.

"Oh, and there's one more game we should mention..." Instant goosebumps. I know everyone is hyped of Tears of the Kingdom (myself included) but GoldenEye was the highlight for me.

Ib is a good indie game, but the first time I saw it was with Markiplier's playthrough in the early 2010s. It's much harder to go back to play it now that you can just look up the endings on KZread if you do try to play it once.

By far my favorite announcement of the direct was Pikmim 4. I am so glad Nintendo announced it but what made it even better was that it was introduced by Miyamoto himself since it was his creation. I am really looking forward to it. Day 1 purchase.

The games I'm looking forward to pre-order soon are; Kirby's Return to Dreamland Deluxe, Legend of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom, and Detective Archives Rain Code. There's also Bayonetta 3, but I already pre-ordered it.

Pikmin 3 came out during a pretty hard time in my life. Moving schools, friends moving away, parent relationship issues, etc. Pikmin 3 gave me a moment of escapism that no other game has really been able to do. I've seen all the "Pikmin 4 when" memes throughout the Pikmin Fandom for nearly 10 years now. So imagine my excitement when 4 was announced. I have a feeling this game will really be worth the wait in my opinion. Thank you, Miyamoto.

I'm actually looking forward to this game and I haven't played any Pikmin games yet. Really wanna go back and play the first two first, just glad there is more for later.

I unironically started crying when I saw the HD Bulborb. Pikmin was my entire childhood. I've waited 10 YEARS. I went from middle school, to being able to drink alcohol and being married since the last one :(

Who remembers when every direct had the smash dlc and was exiting 😔

Even though the only Pikmin game I’ve played is Pikmin Adventure in Nintendo Land as of writing this, I have heard people wanting this game so bad, and I can’t believe Pikmin 4 is actually here. I’m totally buying the Pikmin 4 t-shirt, by the way. Also, Kirby’s Return to Dream Land Deluxe is huge for me, because Kirby’s Return to Dream Land 2011 was my very first Kirby game. I actually want to get a physical copy, because I have a physical copy for the other one. And Zelda, I guess, but I’ve never really played Zelda. But I guess I’ll consider trying it out in the future. This direct for me was awesome, because of Pikmin 4 and especially Kirby.

@@asswaterstudios I mean, they did say that the only reason they're making a sequel is because they had too many DLC ideas. The entire purpose is to extend the story.

Development has seemed very unstable over the past 5 years, it's pretty fair to be worried at this point

Anybody else excited to play Pokémon stadium again? Those mini games were awesome!

I am so excited for the Story of Seasons game!! My siblings and I played it every day when we were kids. I'm getting it for sure!! ❤

My immediate thought at Pikmin 4 was "Arlo must be screaming in joy right now."

My favorite announcements were "Pikmin 4" and "Kirby's Return to Dream Land Deluxe". I anticipate that those games will be great! 🌟

So excited for octopath traveler 2 and obviously botw 2 holy

I remember when I was younger pikmin was the first game that I had ever played and the experience it gave me being so young was unforgettable. It’s still processing in my mind that this game just came out after all the years of repeating the games, the memories, the nonstop watching of ever single direct just to see if a sequel to the pikmin series would come out. And now that it’s finally out I can now rest well knowing the series that I love is on its way. If anyone else has the level of interest to this game as me please message me back and I would happy to talk and make friends.

I've been trying to score a good deal on pikmin 3. My girlfriend and myself are big fans. I hope 4 has tons of coop. Gotta give it to nintendo, switch is where the coop is. Halo infinite canceled theirs! What a joke!

I find it interesting that they have a new announcer to present the highlights now. It's very much the same voice as one who voiced Biff in the ARMS promotions during those times. Still wishing for an ARMS 2 to happen in the future though, but this was an alright Direct personally.

Kirby is the most of my favorite character, I'm really liking this as a remastered game.

52:45 being a fan of this game for years it really took me aback seeing it in an official nintendo direct, i still cant picture this as anything other than a small indie game LOL, but im really happy to see it in the big leagues!!!

I kind of love how even though there’s so many RPG’s that advertise themselves as grand adventures in storytelling and gameplay, there’s still a large percentage of us who are instead solely hyped because we saw some little flower dudes stand in the formation of the number 4. I love being a Pikmin fan. 🤣🤣🤣

It’s almost like different games have different appeals and are catering to different audiences. Crazy, I know It’s possible to enjoy both JRPGs and Pikmin, believe it or not

Sometimes it is the one that speaks the least that should be heard the most. Cause Pikmin is pretty dang good. I have lost track of the ridiculous amount of anime RPG's there are. Like they might be good games, but developers have to understand the concept of making their games stand out. Regurgitating 50,000 anime RPG's sticks out about as well as a chameleon.
