While at this I recommend that one also replace the ball bearings. Especially if one still has the original bearings on (They're crap) I recommend using bearings of a known good brand such as SKF or NSK.

@@jaydenplaysguitar3896 It's more to improve lifetime and be proactive against catastrophic failure. I had a hub motor from this particular scooter fail on me. Once the bearings started to degrade, it was degrading so quickly the motor was more or less destroyed when I got back home. Yeah I should've carried it home instead, but stupidity wins over wisdom every time ;)

@@jaydenplaysguitar3896 Once the crappy original bearings are replaced with a pair of good ones (i.e. SKF) it should hold up a lot longer. How long all depends on how one drives, and what one drives on.

All i needed to know was how you removed the hub plate then at 4.09 it was done without showing!!

Hi nice video.. Can I assume that since a solid tire is flat free it won't need replacing as often as a pneumatic tire?

The tread wears down pretty bad in the center of the tread, much worse that if it were air-filled.

They're called "Security Torx bits". Like regular Torx bits, but with a hole drilled in their center, which allows the pin in the screw head to go into. The idea is to prevent "home" mechanics with regular torx bits from being able to remove those screws. But you can buy the bits online. If you're in the USA, you can get a cheap set from Harbor Freight: www.harborfreight.com/security-bit-set-33-pc-68459.html

Does anyone know if it's possible to change the E22E tyres from the ones like the Model D? The E22E uses a 9-Inch Dual Density tyres (flat-free) and the Ninebot model D uses 10-inch air tyres with inner tube. can someone give some feedback. I'll love to change if was possible. The original tyres from e22e model it's very uncomfortable, they are only good if we have a good road without holes or if you ride on a cycle track otherwise is very bad. Thanks.

did you hit a pothole or some kind of step? try to disconnect cable for source of power, wait for few minutes, then plug it back and see if code error is gone. good luck.

I did use same tire btw. And i did put it on. It took much strength of 2 people. And i did allmost boil it before. Also screwdriver also helps.

Get a new motor. Not too expensive. I prefer to change motor rather than play with wires. Good luck!

doesnt say what exact tool he used to open the screws, so not helpful at all as none of my tools works on them. RIP

i advice anyone who is trying to do this on an es2 to not bother, and just buy a new motor with a new wheel attached on it, at least if you have an older scooter like me, after days of trying, special tools bought, 50% of the screws broken and when i finally get off all the broken shit quality screws, the wheel literally is just impossible to get on, literally boiled the wheel, slapped on half a bottle of lube on that shit and it is just still impossible. idk which scooter or wheel he has but mine are 1000x more difficult, i have been defeated by this horribly made scooter and will just replace the whole motor.
