Hey ! Your welcome 👌 glad to help the ninebot community.

So A mechanic will tell you that removing the actual grease from the bearing and replacing it with wd40 of any kind is a bad idea and will actually risk causing more damage because it not actually a proper grease that stays around, you must re-apply Atleast bi-weekly for best effectiveness. So, great video, nice tool. But honestly, you can do this all including make your own tool without taking it apart once a month to ensure you have proper amount of lubricant. Try using actual bearing grease and pack your bearings. It will work better than tearing your head apart every month.

Oups sorry for my mistake, i am studying for a master's degree in computer science. I am learning a lot on the job. On my scooter it's all fine, it run more that 500kms in this configuration. I hope anyone make my mistake. Thank you for your comment !

He uses WD-40 Lithium Grease. Not the regular wd-40 that removes grease.

I never fix something by myself until i have to fix this problem Nothing to hard here i think you should try 😉 The other solution is to send back the scooter to ninebot but as somes customer told me, it will cost more than 100$ of shipping

Hello, Thank's men A costomer have the same problem as you, his bearing broke. As he tell me, he need a standard BMX 1 1/8" - 40x33,7x4,5 bearing. He ordered it on a norwegian bike shop.

What is that wire sticking out from the wheel that you talk about on 5m 30 sec of the video? These wires are broken off on my scooter, but it still seems to work fine. What are these wires for and how do I fix/reconnect them? Many thanks

Hello, this cable is used to light the back leds. You can fix it by stripping the cablrs and resoldering them. You can find a soldering kit on aliexpress for 15$

You should have greased both bearings not lubricant them, lubricant is sort of a liquid to help reduce rust and keep out moisture grease on the other hand let’s the bearings roll around and helps maintains the bearings life span from Keeps Particles from getting in and wearing them down

Hello, i already fall one time cause of this steering loose, nothing broke but i'ved done a front flip ^^ Its risky especially when you go at 30km/h...

I'm gonna buy this tool BUT where can I find replacement ball bearing rings? I have a few broken/missing ones on both rings :(

Bonjour, on peut effectivement changer le pneus des roues des trottinettes. Cependant comparé au modèle Es, le modèle E25E est bien plus confortable, je ne sais pas si une réelle amélioration est possible

Hice lo mismo y al encender el patinete parece que tiene algo que traba la rueda y no la permite avanzar como debería, aparte hace un sonido bastante fuerte y vibración,¿ que ha pasado? ¿Porque hace eso si antes no lo hacia?

Hi ! Depends of your contry, but the "warranty void if break" don't realy break the warranty. If you do all wright and you can show that the problem don't come to your fault the warranty may be effective. If you want the name of the tool i use, ninebot call it "Front shock up nut repair fix"

I ran into a curb with my scooter and the stem isn’t level with the wheel.out of all the videos that I watched(many videos)not one showed how to do it.this also isn’t exactly the problem but it seems close though I don’t want to risk breaking it.what should I do?

@@binyaminelkouby1699 Exactly the same thing happened to me in a big fall. The best and most on method is to dismantle the stem, then dismantle the wheel and replace it correctly (as I did in the video without touching the bearings). That's what I did after my fall. I don't know if there can be other methods to fix this. Did you hurt yourself during the fall?

I don't get any sound problem in my devices

because the wall of the stem is so thin and aluminum by putting a bigger bolt with a wider thread it is hardly fixing to the stem wall, what I have done and seems very solid, ( I have drilled 6mm straight one side to the other of stem and bar holder, then bolted all the way through and to make the bolts useful I used bolts with a bent loop head, not hex, 2 nuts the other side the last locks the first solid) I've had the stem snap and the one from the deck to stem snap, used scooters, people tend to hang on to the handle bars for life, in my opinion and I am a true old school ELECTRIC SCOOTER LOVER FOR NEARLY 20 YEARS,, I am a 57 young mechanical engineer that has RAZOR E300, &E300S wide wheel, Aovo pro, Wind-Goo M12, Electriq , Jungle one, Hover X1 Eagle, 2 razor e100, one I'm making from BMX scooter with a kids 14inch mountain bike monoshock sprung back end and wheel, spares from all sorts, a tricycle imtrying to electrify and a range of motors wheelchair, tool washing machine etc I will get or make a dual hub fast scooter, RION OR WEPED MIND so many great scoots now RAZOR was it back then but great custom point to build from, I had one doing wheelies using 2 18v tool batteries direct to motor with a drill trigger, I don't think the early e300 motor had a volt rating, it melted thick wire and switches but motor was ok, put E100 sprocket on the E300 with shoulder bolts in the 4 slots, aovo does 28mph, great fun

@@yourfrenchtools7807 IT IS A LOT EASIER THAN THIS WAY, YOU ARE TELLING PEOPLE TO REMOVE THE 4 STEM SCREWS ON YOUR VIDEO, AL THAT IS NEEDED IS A 6MM HSS DRILL BIT AND M6 BOLTS THAT GO ALL THE WAY FROM ONE SIDE TO THE OTHER AND 2 NUTS EACH BOLT ONE ACTING AS A LOCK NUT, DRILL HOLES TO 6MM AND POST BOLT TIGHTEN, PUT TOOLS AWAY AND GO FOR A SAFE RIDE, IT IS ALUMINIUM SO THESE SCREWS THAT ARE USED ARE NOT THE BEST, GOING BIGGER WITH A BOLT MAKES IT WEAKER LESS THREAD TO GRIP, A THIN FLAT BAR ACTING LIKE YOUR TOOL AND GRIPS WILL SAVE HAVING TOGET A SPECIAL TOOL
