" Also, Earl Woods, although he turned out to be right in this case, he talked a lot of crap too. He's just one of those dads." And how the flying F is that even relevant here?

@@dr6124 , "...so why are you inspired? " That wasn't the point. Again, it's about Earl's words inspiring Tiger. "Earl Woods also said that his son would transcend golf and end racism, etc, etc. He spoke so much nonsense, which takes away from his 'prediction' here. It's relevant because a it's Earl Woods talking. Have you ever heard of the saying "even a broken clock is right twice a day." Still irrelevant. Btw. Make up your mind. First you state "Also, Earl Woods, although he turned out to be right in this case, he talked a lot of crap too. " and then "He spoke so much nonsense, which takes away from his 'prediction' here." So, which is it? Because in terms of golf, his father was absolutely correct.

@johnharrison1487 Yeah, his win proved nothing except that Woods could win one more major after his injuries, he is not ever going to catch Jack and he is probably not ever going to win another major with how screwed up his body is nowadays. He is mentally strong, but others have proven to be just as mentally tough or even tougher than him over time. Earl’s words still sound arrogant after all these years. To say that he would meet NO ONE as mentally tough as him for the rest of his life is foolish because that is a blanket statement that overhypes his son and disrespects other people in all walks of life. I understand it is just an advert but it’s pretty cringe still just to hear him say that. Even now years after his death.
