Such a unique time in the game... Tiger is competing now against the young golfers that he inspired to join the game. He's literally playing against competition that he created. Remarkable.

How cool would it have been if they closed the commercial zooming in on a child standing in the crowd watching them tee off, just like how baby Rory was watching him on tv in the beginning? It's like a never-ending cycle.

This remains to be the single best ad for any sport brand and any sport. Period.

We're now seeing the first generation that Tiger inspired at the top of the game. Incredibly cool.

This is such a powerful ad. I’ve seen it many times throughout the years, and it still stirs the same emotions each time.

Best part of this commercial: He sees Tiger playing in the rain, goes to the range (he's not a country club kid with a silver spoon stuck in his mouth) the next time it's raining showing his dedication. His mom asks if he's warm enough reminding us it's cold and that kid actor nails it saying "I'm warm enough, yeah" in a way that screams "I love you mom but I'm not here to be warm enough, I'm here to learn how to play golf when I'm not warm enough" *Stripes it.

Worked at a restaurant in Texas. Me being in my early 20’s I never really got to experience the tiger effect. That day every time tiger was up people got up and watched. Tiger brought people to gather

rory didnt perform well, but i betcha if anything it's not fear for his idol, its nerves that this vary moment we see in this commercial has come & that childhood moment coming true got to him. i dont think current young golfers inspired by tiger would ever have the same fear the david duvals & the tom lehmans would have

Watching that commercial was like a mini movie. I got so immersed, it was like an entirely different world for a moment. The power of cinematography and music.

Yeah, I cried, and frankly I don't think I'm the only one among us nostalgic folk.

Rory and I are the same age, I remember being that young and watching Tig win the masters. This commercial brings tears to my eyes still.

When I was a kid I went to the Masters with my old man and watched Tiger and Earl all day from the rope. So that shot of Rory and his Dad at the rope brought the feels hard. Being there with my Dad watching him will always mean the world to me. Although my dad took a similar path and had the same problems they both will always be my heroes. It's the good memories that I choose to remember.

Dad went to a bookie when Rory was a junior player and they gave him something like 500:1 odds that Rory would win The Open in 10 years. Rory won the 2014 Open to cash dad's ticket.
