💯 correct! I've liked Bryson since day 1! Even had me sold on the one length irons and Puma flat cap 😆 media are very good at doing that. The same way they make out Rory is such a nice guy and everyone loves him, when behind his front, he is clearly an absolute 🔔 🔚!

I think many people forget to mention the passing of his father. As someone who lost a loved one very young in life, it sets a new perspective and brings a lot of maturity out of you. That in my opinion was the biggest thing that changed Bryson

Having met Bryson's dad several times you can imagine his passing was a big loss to those who knew, and loved him. The fruit fell far from the tree. Bryson played fast, and loose with the Pandemic which flies in the face of his "mad scientist" reputation. A global emergency demands cooperation from everyone but Bryson gave the world the middle finger🖕.

I personally wasn't a fan of Bryson when he first hit the tour. Now I realize I was just a victim of biased bad press and social media banter. Getting to know him through his KZread channel and seeing him show immense respect to his peers and golf legends really shows his true colors. I'm definitely a fan, only downside is I'm not gonna watch LIV lol

We got CC in the house! At first i thought he was just misunderstood, but I admit I was rooting against him by the time the slow play drama played out. Nothing worse than slow play. All in the past though. I'm a fan now. Golf needs personality. Some guys win tournaments and hardly celebrate. It's soft.

No doubt, his KZread channel is what opened the eyes of many people, to see the real side of him. This was a good video, but he makes it sound like Brysons “turn around” just started in April. I personally never had an issue with him, did I find the slow play annoying…absolutely, but over all I think the media made him the villain. But his redemption I guess really started a few years ago. People forget he’s only 30 years old. He was a kid when most of that dumb shit was going on. What changed him was maturity, the passing of his father, and KZread. It just so happened that he’s been playing lights out since Augusta this year, but the number one factor is 100% his channel, because people can form their own opinions from it, rather than how the media takes a person and makes them a villain or a hero, regardless if they actually are

That said, everything I see of him, he just seems like a really awkward guy to interact with that i could imagine rubbing myself the wrong way playing a round with him. I dont think hes a bad person at heart, just very single mindedly focused on golf, terrible social intelligence, really bad cognitive empathy to the point I genuinely think he might be firmly on the spectrum. I am definitely a fan though and love the unique approach and personality he brings to the game, the good and bad of it.

What are the chances Brson has changed? I hope he has, and life is in the right perspective for him. We all want golf to come back together. The question is will the public get sick of it if they see it week in and week out. 4 times a year to have Bryson being Bryson may be the perfect amount for all I know!

The media did a hit job because Bryson did not have the RIGHT sponsors and because he was NOT tiger woods. Why do you think some of the most mid golfers get their own streaming and why those streams start before the main feed. Sponsors want you watching their guy not someone else much more entertaining and knowledgeable.

I can say I am a fan of of BD but before I wasn’t really too sure but when he made his KZread channel it showed me his true colors and I’m for it.

There was never a comeback. He was trying new methods to find his game. Stuffy golf traditionalist were against it and it fell into the press. Most (golf pros) went with it cause they have to be told what to think. Now that his game is rounded out and he won some key events, everyone seems to like him. Good on him when he took control of his image. Goes to show there's always narrative spin when its simply not the case.

The Augusta disrespect thing is stupid. I get how it sounded but even if he has a bad round there the reality is his distances make that true.
