No, this movie is actually connected to the 1994 Danish movie Nightwatch.

Is this after or before nightwatch with nick Nolte Ewing McGregor Josh Brolin. Way underrated movie.

This is a sequel to the original Nightwatch movie that Ewan MCGregor & Josh Brolin were in the remake of, they actually both had the same director I believe.

It's a direct sequel of the original which also starred Nicolaj Coster Waldau. There was a remake of the original with Ewan McGregor too
