The connection you have with the local community is admirable, watching your mother enjoying the bliss and taking pictures tells me you can find peace wherever you choose to. Just pure love, repect and curiosity amongst all there.

J'adore ! C'est triste pour ces pêcheurs à qui ça ne facilite pas la tâche, l'érosion de cette plage encore magnifique mais il est vrai que ça a beaucoup changé. ..
Thank you, Ludo. Always so interesting.

Ludo, you made an excellent video. I loved how you returned to the community following your last visit. One small request: could you update the mapping on-screen so that we can link with your videos more seamlessly? You might also utilize a customised pin drop from time to time to map out spots/locations you currently are or of interest. I appreciate that the editing process might be time-consuming, however, I hope you find my feedback useful nonetheless.

Ludo, was it your intention to record this with a documentary feel? Whether you did or did not it works for me. It's a good feeling to see a community working hard together, enjoying life together by the sea with happy children. I would have an even better feeling if they had returned the tortoise back to the sea😊, rather than sell it to be eaten😢.

yes i had the idea in mind to document it this way. i am really glad you appreciate it !
Yes , they are Ghanaians . I can understand the language being spoken . All across the Gulf , you'll see Ghanaian fishermen . Ive personally met Ghanaian boat owners in Abidjan , in Lome and Baguida , Togo and also in Ouidah and then Lagos , somewhere around third mainland bridge . I've also heard of Ghanaian boat fishermen in Liberia and Mauritania . They export some kind of salted fish called " kɛwro " back to Ghana . It's a very popular delicacy here used in several dishes . From the language , I can detect the fishermen are Anlo Ewes , and the sea eating the land is no new thing to them . Almost all the ancestral lands of Keta , Kedzi , Anloga and the likes are well under water

Ghanaians 🇬🇭 fish freely in Nigeria 🇳🇬 without being molested but Nigerian petty traders in Ghana are constantly harassed by Ghanaian police. Much ado about African unity 🤔.

No wonder I don’t understand their language even though I am Nigerian. I thought some Ghanian said they are no more in Nigeria. Lol😂😂😂😂

I see loads of videos from all over the world and the lengths people go to save turtles even in places in India, the Caribbean and Pacific islands. Hopefully people there will learn to save them before they become extinct in that part of the world. What are the state authorities doing about the alarming rate of coastal erosion? If action is not taken soon, this way of life too will vanish. Seems to be a never ending tale of mismanagement. Thanks for sharing.
