Basically the state-owned broadcaster in Nigeria aren't feeling the need to compete with commercial TV stations and improve their graphic design to keep up with the times.

Nigeria strikes again! Can't believe that the largest economy in Africa can do such graphics. This is the only way that I would suggest them to use stock themes. Great video btw!

1:00 probably the best from NTA for me, pretty good for the early 80s, the music sounds cool too, though the text looks a bit bland 6:58 looks good, but for 2005, it looks old for 2016

You got the wrong NTA Makurdi ident here. The one you used here is the one that was used by NTA's Network Service. They can be seen sometimes on local stations when they're relaying the network service, which they did everyday for several hours.

Yeah, after watching this video, more specifically almost all of the post-2010 idents, i largely doubt that there are worse idents than *THOSE.* Well, their economy really fell most likely due to overpopulation and other problems, ain't i right? And we all know that budget depends on the economy too..

4:24 I don't know why but the 2 is most probably taken from the ABS-CBN logo in the 1980s

on 7:19 which is the nta2 channel 5 lagos they was actually using that in 2014 but without the logo in zooming out in space and i think they had different videos

I think part of this is government corruption. NTA is state-owned, but there are more fulfilling things for the government to spend money on, e.g. pocketing the people's money.

I think it was either because of the super low budget that they have, maybe they liked the ident so much that they don't want to change it, or maybe they are just lazy & not bothered to change anything.
