Make a lot more fun of Matt ! He takes it well and it's super funny. This is my 2nd comment, check out the first one, I think there's a few on stage joke minutes about Matt and his festivals that would definitely get some laughs !

When you say, “Vegetables take like sad” one tends to suspect that you eat carbs & meat, probably more meat than others because veggies aren’t taking that part of your stomach capacity, so high cholesterol would be about right. High carbs just converts to sugars, so high blood sugar also sounds about right.

Just FYI, cholesterol can also be caused by your genes, and white rice had nothing to do with it. At least for people who already have a relatively healthy lifestyle, it has nothing to do with your diet, your exercise, it's just your genes. Good news is that it is easy to regulate with medication. So don't worry, you don't have to give up white rice!

Why would you want to regulate cholesterol? The only issue with cholesterol is oxidisation, which leads to formation of plaque. Guess what, diet plays a significant role in oxidisation. Stop eating processed BS.

Some countries let you apply for a second copy of your passport for exactly this reason. You just need to prove that you are traveling and getting visas enough to need one. I would think you would qualify. I know it is possible with UK and USA passports but I couldn't tell if it can be done in Malaysia.

Stress can kick up your cholesterol Nigel. You're on tour and have mentioned before that you get very stressed so that may be a factor. As for pre-diabetic, don't let them prescribe Statns... do some research, they are really not good at all and seem to be a 'cure-all' these days for anything. Love your stuff so much, keep it up and get some R n R !!

mate honestly just don't give medical advice, it's so dangerous. Statins are only prescribed when there is a clear need and measures to reduce cholesterol haven't worked i.e. the patient has eaten healthier and lost weight and taken measures to reduce cholesterol and there is still an excess OR the patient is at high risk or has for a serious heart condition that could cause death if untreated and is uncontrolled. As for statins being dangerous, they can cause diabetes in 75 out of 10,000 people whom are on them, we routinely check for diabetes and other complications. I will say its much better to have diabetes than any heart condition and diabetes is well managed. I'm a cardiac surgeon and in the last 3 years I've had 27 patients whom have had a clear need for statins, explained the risks & benifits and what may happen as a result of not taking them. 27 people whom refused to take them because they are worried, and have came back to me to be in heart failure, blocked arteries, heart attacks & strokes. 9 of these people passed away needlessly! These medications when used properly (which they are now) are life savers and you shouldn't give medical advice to someone when you don't know the situation of the person.

I am using statin (also clopidogrel) for 2 years now because of stroke caused by high cholesterol. I can say statins cause a tremendous muscle weakness. But one should never stop taking statins because it is proven to avoid cardiovascular issues.

The people who try and sell you it though make a used car salesman look like somebody you'd set your sister (that you actually loved and adored) up to be with. £5000 is the minimum they'll charge in England, and what they offer for the money is just AWFUL.
