NICOLAS CAGE WAS LYING! The Who ONLY played Filmore West ONCE, in 1968, Nic would have been 4 years old!!! they DID however play Oakland Coliseum STADIUM (Filmore was NOT a stadium) in 1976, co headlining w/The Who (i was there!); Nic would have been 12 years old, rather young to go to a concert

Cage looks totally at ease and the way he answers is odd but clever.
I would not in a hundred years have guessed Nic Cage would've picked the Happy Birthday song to be his one song. So out of the box, I didn't even consider it. Amazing.
What a class act, Nic Cage is! Every answer was pure, distilled Cage. Mesmerising without looking like he's trying.
I've seen a lot of Steven's Questionerts. This one has to be the best ever.

I don't understand what he means by "Fillmore stadium" tho. It was either at a stadium, or at the Fillmore, which was an indoor venue. (?)
Questionert is my absolute favorite segment and this was one of the best ever. Love Nic Cage’s offbeat energy ❤️ I noticed that Stephen added 2 questions what was your first concert and what was your earliest memory. Sometimes he omits questions, but I don’t remember NEW. Loved it even better because of that

This time he replaced "What's the one thing you own that you should really throw out?" (Question 2) with "What was your first concert?" I loved his answer about The Who, but I really would have loved to have heard his answer about what he owns but should really throw out. :-D

What's awesome about Cage's answers is that he didn't hesitate, he knew definitively and there was no waffling. Not just "well, dogs are nice but hmm..." it was "DEFINITELY CATS".
This man may be one of the storytellers in the world. His description of the best sandwich makes you want to rethink your own choice and hunt down his instead.
Nicolas Cage always seems so genuine. He is one of the few actors who I am a big fan of in both movies AND real life. I might have to steal his answer about his thoughts on the afterlife. Such an honest and humble answer.

They finally added new questions! The earliest memory and first concert are new ones they haven't asked others previously in the questionnaire. I like it!

I've seen it. He's a great Dracula! Genuinely. You might not like any other part of the film, but that Dracula portrayal easily makes up for whatever Vampire's Kiss was.

His thoughts on the electrical current that moves our synapses through neurons possibly having consciousness is actually an impressive take. Im a believer in science and factual evidence and in honesty, of eletrical current does retain any "memory" at all is as far as i can imagine even giving credence to as far as existence beyond life, so, 👏

It was actually an interesting answer. I was thinking the whole time that perhaps it was a fusion of past lives coagulating into the fetus and possibly recalling faces from previous existences.

yeah, I think he was thinking more along the lines - the conversation of energy law (not electricity just one form) - that it cannot be created or destroyed & confusing it a bit with concepts such as the 'spark of life' "conservation of energy, a fundamental law of physics and chemistry stating that the total energy of an isolated system is constant despite internal changes. It is most commonly expressed as “energy can neither be created nor destroyed”, and is the basis of the first law of thermodynamics"

He said he was a massive fan, during the intial sit-down interview. And when he asked Nic Cage to name his "Top 5 Nic Cage Movies", Stephen said Face/Off would be top. Which i completly agree with👌. I'm in my 40's now, and there are certain enjoyable cinema experiences , that stick in your memory. They might not necessarilly be the best movies, but for some reason, you just enjoyed the visit. Face/Off was one of them, with probably 2 of the biggest movie stars at the time. I even remember what cinema, and i can still picture where i sat . Oh the memories!😍
