typically when you got that power half you need one foot on the floor for enough power to turn them (the other in a single leg ride). standing up though I'm not sure because in wrestling they would call the position dangerous and reset them.

We waited too long. You can’t let him get his weight back to do a squat. It’s when it’s more supported by his hands that you need to pressure forward hard. It’s best to take out the hooks and do a classic mat return at that point to get good position of the return and start over. That backpack shit never goes anywhere. Overall he was incredibly dominant and I was happy to see him roll so well in competition. I hope he stays out of the way of injury and can make a good run at it again
