Don’t forget the shirtless suspenders look 😍
My 4-year-old woke up singing this song this morning.. I could hear her from her bedroom, literally seconds after waking up, her voice still sleepy.. "woooooo oooh oooh a oooh oooh.. some days are looong" =D
I'm only commenting so that the algorithm puts Nick out there
Fantastic Nick! I remember you practicing drums in the basement while I was staying at your place watching you and your brother. Man, you’ve come a long way...Love this so much!!!

I take notice of the sky wherever i go, too! I noticed the south's sky isnt as as blue as here in the rockies because that dang humidity! But your clouds seem to haul ass compared to here, which is neat.

You literally can not tell the difference in his, recorded, live, or album voice. Nick is one of ny absolute fucking favorites! So good, so so good
Screw tiny desk, they don't even exist any more. Literally killed themselves on the sword of self-righteous hysteria. Sick song dude.
I wish I knew what part of the Ozarks he was from/in. I live in the Ozarks and I've never been proud of it until now. What a blessing
It truly makes me happy that this man and his sweet dog exists. It gives me hope.
Seeing him live was one of the best nights of my life. Pure talent
You are the greatest thing in 2020 that's happened to me.
Your bird tattoo is very fitting, as you whistle beautifully. I really hope you get it, Nick!

Fear is the real virus. Peace.
Some days are long Some nights never end I’ve mourned the fleeting second’s flight I’ve prayed to the coming wind And time like snow It never stood around for me I’ve loved every sky I’ve ever seen And I know I’ll never grow to old to dream So if you’re low From the years that didn’t stay If you trace the shadow’s passing If you fear each breaking day If you worry about worry, worry never let you be If devil calls I hope that you can see, somehow To never grow too old to dream If you’ve grown cold Sitting in the headlight’s glare If you long to see the stars again Kicking in the hunter’s snare Beloved be not loving Love it never set you free And don’t forget that the lost shall be redeemed somehow And never grow too old to dream..
Cool! You said just the right thing: "I'll never grow too old to dream". I'm 65 and my capacity to dream is what makes life worth living! Dreaming, dancing, playing ... enjoying all the fullness that life can be ....
Anyone notice his Crocs? True sign of an artist.

Strong old country & gospel influence. I was raised on Hank Sr. and local gospel singers of North Georgia and your sound takes me back to those great days. I'm a strong believer that musicians need some "badge of distinction." Keep whistling Nick!
Dude this is so rad! Can’t wait to see you on tiny desk. Also if you can come do a show in MT that would be killer.

Being a girl from Cleveland this is my first true introduction to country. Anything I have ever heard on the radio called country has been a giant turn off (lukewarm and over produced). However, you have brought the beauty of country to my ears and my heart. Thank you so much

Yeah, corporations f up about everything of humanity, dividing the people. They're the ones responsible for you not knowing how great country has been/can be.
this is pure Neck Shoulders. just a person being his person. caught my 5 year old yodeling the opening lines the other day too, and it made me smile.
Some days are long, some nights never end. I’ve mourned the fleeting second’s flight, I’ve prayed to the coming wind. And time like snow, never stood around for me, I’ve loved every sky I’ve ever seen. I know I’ll never grow to old to dream. If you grow low, from the years that didn’t stay. If you trace that shadow’s passing if you fear each breaking day. If you worry 'bout worry, worry won't let you be, if the devil calls I hope that you can see, somehow to never grow too old to dream. Spotify and KZread recommended Nick around the same time. And im not even a huge fan of westen music but this touches my heart in a way very few musicians do. I hope he gets on NPR and never stops writing music. Nick truly have a gift.
Nick Shoulders for the wins. His music is for the people. Especially for the under dog, the down and out, the down trodden if you will.

Wake up Tiny Desk! You are sleeping on some incredible talent
If I heard this on a jukebox in a diner I’d have thought this was some old unknown artist from the 50s 60s.....this is freaking amazing. When you get chills from a song, you know it’s special.
Some nights never end and Worry's a bully that just won't let me be. Your music helping me feel safe in my silliness. Please always be authentic, as you seem. It's not typical. Thank you, kind sir.
I have a strong feeling you will get it. Good luck! This is my favorite song on the album too.
You can't be in a place of anger or sorrow or fear and create great music like this
Thanks Nick! My 79 year old Pop and I are bonding over your music. Just can't get enough.

Come to Canada Nick, we love your music brother
I don’t know how... but you need to be to be at Bristol Rhythm and Roots Reunion. Maybe next year. Much love from a countrified city slicker who got laid off and is headed to NYC to work as an RN for the first time in 3-4 years.
Lots of love from mauritius island !
The most fascinating artist ever. I don't know how much influence you had on how this was shot, but somebody has the most impressive "Live In Camera Editing" you will probably see on youtube!. If that's all you Nick, great job and props to the camera man for taking good direction, but if it's the DP/Camera man, great job and keep who ever that is!
I just subbed on one of his previous videos and now i'm watching more.
This guy should be huge!! Me and kids love this guy. And just a nice guy with a nice sound.. hoping to get vinyl soon
Hey Nick, Listen to this song and your music daily. It can always put a smile on my face no matter the mood I'm in. Love the song writing and creativity please keep this up, cant wait for new projects to come.
