Nick Shoulders - ‘Heart of Glass’ - Blondie *cover*
Музыка
Live from the Ozark wild! Thanks for visiting this cover series, original music available on all streaming platforms! All the album art, flyers, merch and general warped imagery you see associated with this weird excuse for a country band is my doing, this was a dog memorial mural I did years ago for the friends’ family’s property I’m currently living on, needed a touch up. Thanks for noticing my snake boots, they're made by LaCrosse and yes they're waterproof (and yes southerners tuck their pants in muck boots, sorry bros), this is a Fender Pm-2, thanks for all the inquiries! Again: music can be found on Spotify, iTunes, Apple Music and nickshoulders.bandcamp.com, I’ll soon be selling art through my Instagram, keep an eye out for original pieces and such! Thanks Debbie for this timeless classic of a tune 🖤🖤

This is the most unique rendition! There's something really old fashioned in his style, like a little Patsy Cline, and a little radio from WW1.
A lot going on here. Going to have to rewatch daily for several weeks to determine how much I love it.
I’ve never wanted to meet a musician more. Nick is such a treasure
Maybe the coolest version of "heart of glass" i have ever heard! This is freakin amazing 🙌🙌
How you can make this song both tongue in cheek and totally heartfelt...you're the real deal.

How can a old song that I’ve heard many of times ,and like, sound so new...and original. 2 thumbs up 👍🏻

*As a fan of Blondie for over forty years, I have to say......... NEVER has anyone EVER covered this intensely beautiful song... and stole it from Blondie... with grace.... new life.... emotion... and realness.... and caused the same "WOW-chill" that Debbie Harry did.... but, in a completely different, almost alien way. ABSOLUTELY STUNNING, NICK!*
Reminds me of the old timeless carnival tunes of the 20’s- a bit of a Gene Autry/ Rudolph Valentino vibe! Gold- love his voice!

Truly a unique, unexpectedly enjoyable rendition of one of my old faves...and how about that whistlin'!!

It really doesn't matter if you like this or not, but I been a professional musician for 45yrs and this guy is good! You have to give credit where credit is due! GOOD JOB 👍
That "oh hey" in the intro tho
Sounds like a song from 100 years ago when he does it. He gives you a different perspective and I like it very much.

Brilliant stuff. Absolutely beautiful voice Nick. Warblin', yodelin' with such a lovely tone and authenticity. So original. Terrific art decorations. Love, love your whistle. Thanks for the music and your kozmic view of past and present. So strong on your high notes, my Lord. Love the road Nick Shoulders is on. We all benefit from the heartfelt vibes for sure. Thanks.
Thank the Gods for all the weird folks. The world would suck without them.
I love this cat hoping to catch him in Asheville NC sometime.
I'm confused about what's the best part about this video!!! So epic, then it dawned on me, it IS this video! Cool painting, mullet, yodeling, and a grassy rooftop? Love the gumboots!!! Reminds me of childhood.
