Nick Shoulders and Grant D’Aubin LIVE @ the Grey Eagle, Asheville NC 4/10/21 - ‘Ding Dong Daddy’

Музыка

A return to the world! Check out this snippet from our first string of out of state shows since this time last year, starting with *the ritual of the ding dong*. Phil Baxter wrote this song after a good steak in Dumas, TX in 1928, but I prefer to pretend that Bob Wills knew about the delta town of Dumas, AR and figured they could share the glory. All original music and upcoming releases available on Spotify and all streaming platforms. Thanks Rust Creek Forge for the video, check out their knives!

Nothing more enjoyable than seeing shows starting back up, one day I hope to see you swing northwest. Till then I'll just shut eyes real tight and play it uncomfortable loud for the coworkers.

I got tickets to see you in Nashville in one week!!! Can’t wait to see you and your band. It’s my birthday. I just happen to be in Nashville that weekend for my 70th birthday (It’s official. I am older than dirt). I am huge fan. I wish that I could be up front but I have to sit in the handicap area in the back because I am in a wheelchair. Nevertheless, I can’t wait!! Seeing you and your band will make my birthday complete. Much love, Debbie 💗💗💗

@@neckshoulders you have some Dwight Yoakam influence behind you that I see. Not necessarily this song, but the way you play the guitar, voices etc. Yoakam is a country singer produced by the 80's punk scene out of LA, which I can also see some influence come from. Cool little tidbit of history. Maybe you have a divine intervention from the country punk gods. Ha. Keep on it man.
