We beat ourselves with the mistakes on offense. You cannot turn the ball over twice to an offense like that! We also had too many penalties on offense! That's not the discipline that Alabama normally displays. Just like against Clemson, that wasn't Alabama!! We didn't give up and I see a rematch in the college playoffs!! ROLL TIDE!

Ethan Weeter ....although I can’t argue that the 2011 game was the game of the century....I’d have to say that this game still trumps that one. Two teams that are notorious for their defense and very lackluster (for lack of a better term) on offense. Not one but both teams have/had Heisman grunt runners and just a 180 on how their game has been played for years. It’s not to take away from an amazing 6-9 decision but a 41-46 final is just something that’s unheard of from both of these teams in the previous years. Major props to Bama for showing their ass in the 2nd half (3rd Quarter especially) but LSU made the fewer mistakes and that is what ultimately decided the game. One thing is for certain though. If Bama ends up slipping into the number 4 spot at the end of the year....I want LSU to be rank #2 lol.....because if we are going to play each other again this year, it’s gonna have to be (or damn well should be) in the biggest game of the year. GEAUX TIGERS!!

LSU fan here with the utmost respect for the Alabama Crimson Tide. Lots of emotion in these games and always impressed with the character of Alabama and their fans. Admin 2018 mistakes were made but joe burrow is a freakin stud, trust me I don’t wanna admit it lol but he’s a stud, that receiving core is right with ours and the RB comes up big every time they need him just about. Yes you can say one or two calls would have won us the game BUT you can ALWAYS say that, every game or loss has a play or two that was the deciding factor.

Its amazing how the media cant wait to bash saban. Saban is a class act and one of if not the greatest coach in college history. And I am a SOONERS fan.

Nah Sark called a great game... Bama gave LSU 20 points and an extra possession... fumble on the punt, int followed by personal foul that makes it 1st n goal with :11 in the half. Fumble on first drive.

The biggest error was on the 3rd and 3 with 3min before the half. They run an intricate screen pass instead of what works. Give the ball back to LSU before the half and the rest is history.

This guy Harris is such a great RB! He reminds me of Alvin Kamara. He should be drafted high during the 1st round. Clyde Edwards Helaire should be drafted pretty high too! He reminds me of Mark Ingram!

The Tide was just off today. Mostly Tua getting into game rhythm, and the rest of the team making uncharacteristic mistakes. It was a bad day. LSU was consistent, they played well, they played with energy and they played hard. LSU deserved the win. Roll Tide.

I was impressed with the way Najee Harris played today. He was a running back and a wide receiver 😂. His production jump started the offense in the 2nd half. I also like that this Alabama team has learned to not give up. To come back from 20 points down is no easy feat.

Here's a thought coach. When Brian Robinson runs for 7 yards on first down and LSU has been moving the ball effectively and there are less than four minutes to go in the half, how about run the ball and see if you can get a couple more so you'll have 4th and short or maybe even get all 3 for the first down instead of passing both times. Needed to bleed the clock as well as score before the half. That one was on the coaches.

@@RBDinNC I think Saban admitted they screwed up in the closing moments of the 1st half, armchair.

This Bama defense just isn't what it once was. Not putting the blame all on the defense, I just seldom recall them giving up 40+ within a year in previous recent years (referring to today and the title game last year). The defense used to have "killer instinct" and knew what to do without direction. There is too much confusion now, too much looking up at the sideline for instructions and it hurts them with fast tempo teams. They don't intercept as much as they used to too.

I must say #13 is an absolute warrior... he proved tonight he is the best qb in the country despite 1st drive jitters... 418 yards and 4 touchdowns with one leg? 👀

I’m proud. Early mistakes decided the game early but Bama showed a ton of heart towards the end and made it a close game. We need a little help but Bama is still very much in the playoff race. Hopefully they’ll get a rematch vs LSU and show them the real Bama. Roll Tide!

Tough loss to fan base that has lost 8 straight years. Been here before as a Alabama fan. Sure I’m disappointed but what an effort. The difference was burrow practice all two weeks and tua did not. Coach o or LSU fans won’t say it but secretly they would definitely say they want no part of this team year. Very proud of my team and great job LSU. Lighting in a bottle. Enjoy it.

I was deeply upset when Saban left LSU. He is a winner, he is a classy coach who has the perfect formula for long term success. Recruit, retaining talent, coaching, improving the players, and getting people ready for life. Don't count Bama out, a 1 loss SEC Team can make the playoffs. The only problem Saban has is keeping coaches. With his success comes the problem of coaches leaving for head coaching jobs. He has filled the ranks of the SEC with his assistant coaches.

In every game there’s a winner and a loser. I’m still proud to be a BAMA fan!

We made the same mistakes we've made all year but were able to get away with against lesser competition. I'm extremely disappointed in the clock management in the 4th quarter. It was almost like we didn't realize the clock was our enemy. We had to burn two timeouts because the clock was almost down to zero. No excuse for the play clock getting under 10 seconds in that situation.

Well had the not burned the timeout on the previous drive due to delay of game, they probably would’ve used one when it got down to the 3:00 mark. Burning a 2nd TO essentially gives them a clock advantage on the next possession. But it didn’t matter anyway, Bama couldn’t stop ‘em

Think about the efforts that many college football teams have made over the years to beat Alabama. Many coaches have been fired,over the years. All In the quest to beat Alabama, made coaches rethink everthing they're doing, even recruiting better coaches,( Defenses / coordinators, running back coaches) schemes, ect,ecf. It has taken years. YEARS!!!! But finally teams are beginning to catch up with the dragon. ALABAMA!! This only speaks of how great Alabama is. And how Nick Saban and his brand of football has made other football programs even more competitive, in trying to conquer them. But ROLL TIDE Anyway!! When we get our defense fixed we'll be back. Even when we lose, we don't go down easy. LSu still wasnt celebrating until the game was over. Because of the greatness of Bama!!!!

Alabama Fans were actually asking Nick Saban, arguably the Greatest College Football Coach of all time, to be fired after one loss. Is it just me, does he seem that he is much calmer on the field and in post game press conferences than in the previous years? He just doesn't seem to have the same fire in him as in the previous years.

That first half as Coach Saban said was just some costly mistakes. It would be so disappointing for possibly Alabama to miss out of the playoffs over this one loss. Still, so dangerous with all this talent. Such is life in the SEC.

He's still the greatest of all time, I'm a LSU fan and tbh people shouldnt be mad at him, you can't win them all sooner or later a team will lose

Bama and Tua will bounce back. This Offense will hit it's full potential come conference championship game time. Once Tua gets that ankle healed up 100% this Bama team will be very very good.

Burrow is less affective when not rushed. All ints on his this year has come from not rushing the box. I would have done a lot of 4 4. Spy the QB and eye the RB. And hide db coverage. But LSU is an awesome team. LSU is and has been my most rivaled team. Even over Auburn. But coach O has changed my dislike viewpoint on LSU over Less M. But LSU is hear to stay. When it comes to bama, they don't like to lose twice, and bama fought like hell in the end of this game and bama ain't out of this, hopefully we can get past Auburn, and the SEC championship game, and if they can do all that, they can get another title, but my hats off to LSU and their coach, they played a great game and bama is very hard to beat, just gotta keep the tide Rollin, and get us another title!!! First of all congratulations to LSU and their fans better team won no doubt bout that Alabama fought hard but being down 33-13 at halftime not going to win many games like that. As a Tide fan the tide did not show up till the second half. I have said we have some fumble issues on offense and problems in pass protection showed today so did the defense being inexperienced especially in the secondary. I think as a Tide fan a lot of them just expect to show up and win that is not what happens. I am proud of my Tide this season no matter what happens. It’s just bad when other Tide fans ignore issues and act like they are just flawless that is not the case. RTR.

I realized that in the 2nd half especially with the TD pass to Smith in the 4th, being conservative on offense to see how the outcome would be versus being aggressive. Being aggressive on offense would’ve bailed out the defense, even though they shutdown LSU in the 3rd Quarter. It could’ve been a shoot out offense vs offense but Nick knows our defense needs a learning experience. The result 46- 41, no lost but a learning situation Nick kept the score close enough to still be strongly mentioned in the playoffs!

Our defense played well, except for towards the end. the defense had them, but missed tackling. and yes Joe Burrow is good if not great

This game told us a ton about the character of this team. I'm proud to be a Bama fan. We fell short, but legitimately had a chance to pull this off. Keep us moving forward. LSU better pray we don't get another shot in the playoffs.

The defense gave up 33 points in the first half and 13 more in the second half and that was really bad, but the offense was responsible for 14 of those first half points, right before half time. I can't remember the last time a Bama defense gave up 46 points!

The offense did their job Tua threw for 4 tds and Najee ran the ball really well but our defense sucked ass!!!!

Sounds like non Alabama Fan bullshit to me. If Alabama’s Dynasty is fading due to a 46-41 loss to the number 2 ranked team, what do you guys define as a Dynasty. For those of you that think Alabama is out because of this game, you obviously don’t know college football. Still got plenty of football to go. If Alabama doesn’t get a Natty this season, it would still be 5 out of last 11 seasons. That’s still a dynasty. You guys are obviously fans of a team that hasn’t gotten there recently and it gives you a lift when big bad Alabama loses once a year. Probably Georgia fans. Worst and most classless fan base in all of football. Ohio State mouths with a Vanderbilt trophy case

LSU should have won by even more. Many plays left on the field. Actually by both teams. Hella of a game to watch. This is how the rivalry used to be.....competitive. Respect to Bama. Geaux Tigahs

LSU played a hell of ball game, and I'm a bama myself, and about what you said, I sure hope lol, but if LSU does win, I'll be very happy for them, because the only title they have after saban left, was with his recruits so, I think this new coach can pull it off without sabans recruits, and as a bama fan, I hope we get another title of course, but if we don't, LSU is who I'm rooting for!

LSU forced Bama into some stupid mistakes, LSU outplayed them plain and simple. People saying that Alabama shouldn't even be in the top 10, are nothing but homers that don't watch football if their homer team isn't playing.

Bama should of sit on the ball before halftime! The interception shouldn't happen and wow LSU RB 22 was killing Alabama! Tua was not 100% look like 80%!

Was this a Big 12 game? LSU changed their offense to a big 12 offense and now they are soaring with those athletic guys. They say the sec is all about defense but you can see when you have those spread offenses you see how great a defense is. LSU and Alabama are great teams but when you have offenses like that your defense will be average

If that second half team came out for the first half, Bama wins. This defense is not as good as years past. It's that simple. But they outplayed LSU in the second half and would have won had they played that way through 4 quarters. Frustrating but it was heartening to see them fight the good fight until the last snap.

The defense needs a lot of work, because it could not stop LSU at all. LSU made plays when they needed to and the defense could not or would not stop them. Worse defense play I have seen all year in a game that mattered the most!

If LSU could hold najee Harris and actually tackle him it should’ve been 46-31
