@@sonytoprano5183 that they do. Boutte and maybe even both of those DE’s are 1st rounders. At the very least one of the DE’s. There’s still great talent on LSU but it’s a little more spaced out in terms of quality than they’re used to. Kelly not getting any of the top 3 WR’s from the state last year while 9 of the top15 left the state. Already 1/2 of the top 10 for this years in Louisiana’s class are committed elsewhere. Though LSU has always recruited the entire southeast well it was that clamp the for the most part held on in state recruits that made them a top tier team. I personally don’t think Kelly was a good fit. Hell if they would’ve hired Marcus Freeman….. shittt. Trying to hit a home run with their eyes closed tho.

@@jefftee448 Very likely. His TD production was unreal for his number of snaps. He’s a great route runner at his size and a phenomenal contested catch receiver. He really has everything needed for a legit X receiver in the NFL. The injuries are the only real concern.

@cody gonzales, I’ve done a few rewatches of this specific video and re-feel the sensation of the game I watched. I don’t know the effect of how the full game would/will make you feel already seeing the big plays that ensue and already knowing the outcome. Being an LSU fan 22 of the 27 years I’ve been alive, the anxiety I felt through this game was intense. Considering the 0-8 drought and knowing full well we would loose the nati in 2011, the redemption was is euphoric.

I did watch the whole game and the highlights definitely do not compare. It's nice to go back and see these, but the emotions from watching the entire game, live, was completely different.

Why don't they just take the Defenses off the field then. put them in the cheerleader section or the stands ? modern football is candy ass. they may as well make the defensive players carry anvils and the offensive players should dressed in hazmat suits and bubble wrap, so they don't get hit. it doesn't make for better games. Had this not been Bama vs LSU i wouldn't have made it through the whole game. who the hell wants to see 46-41 every week ? Is this the USFL now ? i'll wait for basketball season if i want to see that.

This is when I knew we would win the national championship. It was all about winning in Alabama, the rest was just business.

Should've been a title year in 2011 too. It's pretty shitty that two teams can go undefeated outside of splitting a two-game series and one team gets a title for evening the season series when it should've just been a one-game affair in the first place but bama's no stranger to undeserved second chances anyway.

Did you notice that lsu had a lot of backup defensive back in the second half and all I come hear is bama fans complaining about their players bein hurt and also bama has a good number of Louisiana products on the field so if lsu cas keep some of these players in state and playing offense on the college level and not like indel les miles lsu will be a force to be reckoned for a while and not some place where bama can come in and just buy what they want with those deep pockets and that's a fact

Ivan Desantis and he’s a great pass catcher. He had 6 receptions that game lines up a wide receiver when they go empty sometimes. He’s exactly what NFL teams r lookin for in a RB, AND he can pass block.

To think most of the players in this game is now in NFL. And the collection of WR's is incredible.

Both are decent QBs with extremely talented weapons around them... I honestly feel like they have potential but can be busts in the NFL, especially Burrow as this is the first year he is actually having a good season because he was trash last year. And he was buried down the depth chart at OSU... So basically he's a one year wonder.

Kind of like Alabama 2020 right? LSU had their fame for one year. Alabama had to make sure that fame faded fast. Alabama 2020 undefeated, records set, and all conference games for season. No cupcakes.

Bama had a great team in 2020, but they played 7 teams that didn't have a winning record out of 13 including a 7-win Ohio St. team that had 13 players out due to COVID (including multiple starting D-linemen) in the national championship game. LSU played 11 bowl teams in 2019, beat a record 7 top 25 teams (in the final poll), snapped Bama's 31-game home winning streak and snapped the defending national champ's 29-game winning streak when they blew out Clemson.

Watching This In December 2023 Its Crazy Damn Near Everyone That Was On The Field Is In The League Now. Underrated Game

Looking back now, this was the game of the season between the two best teams in the country. We were watching two legendary offenses and didn't know it until seeing the end result of the season. After LSU has won the championship and their defense has flexed its muscles against the other top teams, no other offense could match up like Alabama could. It's just a shame their defense couldn't match up, no doubt a result of injuries. The mistakes in the first half didn't help either. Either way, these were the two best teams; if both teams were at full strength though, the matchup would have been so much better. Congrats LSU

@Inferno I'm not even sure where you get any of these assumptipns from, that I'm even an Alabama fan or anything. But I guarantee that LSU wouldn't have won their big games if their starting QB broke his hip, and I guarantee LSU will sink back into mediocrity this coming season. They couldn't even get a higher recruiting class than bama despite winning the championship and finally beating them after a near decade. Kinda sad honestly

I was at this game with my Dad.. We drove from Pennsylvania down to Alabama in his brand new 2019 Challenger to watch this game .. 1 of 4 college games i’ve EVER been to.. What an amazing experience.

Looking back, this game is what made LSU the greatest of all time. They never played another close game the rest of the year. They dominated the rest of their schedule with ease. This game gave LSU the confidence to know they were the greatest team ever.

I saw your 3 Tigers and they looked like the mascot of where CEH went to HS..Catholic High School ( Baton Rouge) Warrick Dunn Was the last person at that school that was quick like that, but Helaire is much stronger

always come back and watch this game from time to time. the amount of NFL talent in this game that’s succeeding right now is INSANE!!

This was a really extraordinary win for LSU… Anytime you win in Tuscaloosa is great! But the way they did it was really extraordinary.

What a game. As a long time LSU fan it feels great to have beat them, but I’m also glad it was an exciting, close, competitive game. If we have any football this year it’s gonna be another good one.

I remember watching this in a bar in Los Angeles, everyone went nuts and cheered so loud when LSU won.

Alabama looked like they jumped the snap at least 3 times and weren't flagged. I am not a fan of either teams but those were on key plays (two 3rd downs and a 2pt conversion).

This game is an example of what makes college football so great. The back and forth with 'Bama continuing to come back with their home crowd going crazy. Both teams #22 were incredible, Harris and LSU's Edwards-something (he moved so fast I couldn't see the second name. Devonte Smith blowing by those I'm sure fast Tiger defenders, that was something

@@stevenneal172 yea turnovers was for sure a extra nail in the coffin. Bama got some breaks on Offense with 2 miscues on LSU defense giving Bama 14points. And a few of there drives where extended on 3rd down by LSU penalties which led to points. It's crazy when thinking about it but Bama was just flat out beat against a better team.

Yall have been a thorn in our side for a long time, we had to slay the dragon tonight and we finally done it. I'm a Buckeye fan. I must say this was an amazing game. It's also nice to see good sportsmanship between two rival fans! You dont see that much. Normally it's all trash talking and swearing at each other. And to be honest, Bama didnt lose much of their chances to make the playoff. And LSU will take over our #1 spot next week, and I will admit, at this point you guys deserve it. Go Bucks! Hopefully we see one of you guys in the playoff for a great game 👍

You've gotta give people their due. At this point we're probably out. But I still think we're the best one loss team in the country, so we'll see how it all shakes out. Stranger things have happened. Jacob Cooper With all due respect to the College Football Playoff selection committee, there is no team in the nation that matches the wins the Tigers have on the season. To go on the road at Alabama and jump out to a 20-point halftime lead, then put together a decisive fourth-quarter drive just when it seemed Alabama was ready to seize momentum shows just how far LSU has come this season. LSU had not beaten Alabama since 2011, so this was a huge obstacle LSU had to get past. But putting together this type of offensive performance after years of ineptitude in this series proved something entirely different. LSU scored a combined 26 points in its past four meetings against Alabama. The Tigers exceeded that total in the first half alone, with 33 points.
