Piers Morgan vs Nick Kyrgios | On Injury, Andrew Tate Backlash, Djokovic & More
Ойын-сауық
Australian tennis player Nick Kyrgios claims he’s "actually quite calm" - but anyone who knows anything about the sport will see images of trash-talking and racquet-bashing spring to mind at the mere mention of his name. The Australian Wimbledon finalist has been a powerful destabilising force within tennis since his professional debut in 2014, and has even beaten the ‘Big Three’; Novak Djokovic, Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal.
Even him joining Piers Morgan Uncensored risks controversy, as Piers has previously called Nick a ‘monumental a**hole’ - to which Nick responded in kind. That said, the hatchet was soon buried, as they discuss life, legacy and Donald Trump, before a friendly game of table tennis. This interview should at the very least give both Nick and Piers a little bit of closure.

The moaning like Monika Seles made me laugh, but I am old enough, so I understood the reference 😂
Nick is misunderstood - he's a great guy with a heart of gold. Love to see his passion on court!

Agreed, I think the average person doesn’t understand that mans mindset, he’s a winner, the average person can’t handle that kind of pressure, they couldn’t possibly understand what it’s like to be in his shoes

Agreed, but he needs to NOT spit on the court at Wimbledon! It's gross and disrespectful. Wish him well otherwise. 🇨🇦

Another AngloSaxon hater who can't stand some Eastern European / Balkan dude being the GOAT over western favorites Rafa and Roger. That is all what has ever been behind the dislike.

@@pistolpetetcwhy would an Anglo Saxon have a bias towards a Spaniard over a Balkan. We couldn’t care less. Weird comment
@pistolpetetc

@@flazo69 You are mistaken. There is a long history of stereotypes about and against eastern europeans, and especially against Serbs and Russians. They would always feel more sympathy to a fellow Westerner (former colonial power) from Spain. And you just happen to forget about the Swiss, Federer. Elitists if there ever was something like it. More importantly, those old historical biases are so deeply entrenched, so conventional, that most people in the West are not even conscious or aware of their general attitudes. You are an example of this, it is an automatic thing. Not something you are consciously active with or planning. If you know, you know. People from those regions are more than aware why Novak is "disliked" in much of the US and Western Europe. We all deal with the same bullshite. For some reasons, the Chinese, Mexicans, Brazilians, Russians, Poles, and Japanese and Arabs do not dislike Novak to that extent and never show him the whistling and negative remarks. And this discrepancy is perfectly explicable by the historic elements I mentioned before. Anyway, western people never agree with me or never acknowledge these biases against Novak, which is completely logical. No one wants to be called biased or even racist, no matter how much truth there is to it. xD

Piers sweating and sucking air during the match 🤣 he took that very serious, I love it
Kyriosis a credit to his family and country, warts and all. Great interview Piers.
Interview Djokovic... he actually tries, he actually wins and he's actually a decent person.
Kyrgios trashing the umpire EVEN IN PING PONG is absolutely brilliant 🤣🤣🤣
He needs to become your co-host!

Those 2 words on the hoodie describe Piers PERFECTLY
That was a lovely interview. Piers' best interviews are the ones where he has actual chemistry with the guest and doesn't have to confront him constantly. My only gripe is with the editing on a table tennis game itself. Just too many cuts during a rally and in a lot of them a ball isn't even seen!
Love this chemistry and I like the fact that ppl slam piers but he has a decent sense of humour and isn’t afraid to dig at himself and make fun which is something a lot of ppl miss about him he most definitely is actually a pretty cool guy thank u piers loved this video
I never liked Nick, but have so much respect for him these days! It takes a good man to admit to his mistakes and learn from them and overcome hard personal battles then change and evolve into a better person. I wish him the best for his future.❤🇦🇺😊

Serious respect for you, Piers. I was a teaching pro and tennis director for years and I'm quite sure I could not have gone to battle with a playing professional like Nick on table tennis like you did. Also, great interview.
Piers playing ping pong ive never seen him so angry and its utterly brilliant 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I enjoyed watching this entertaining interview. Nick has really matured as a man. 🇦🇺🇬🇧
Djokovic is the only man in tennis history to be the reigning champion of all four majors at once across three different surfaces. In singles, he is the only man to achieve a triple Career Grand Slam, and the only player to complete a Career Golden Masters, a feat he has achieved twice. -Djokovic is the only player to have beaten Nadal in all four majors. -Djokovic and Federer faced each other 50 times, with Djokovic leading the head-to-head record 27-23, including 13-6 in finals. If next time you have any doubts again about who is the best, read this then again.😁

Djokovic leading Federer by 4 matches isn't that great of an achievement considering he's quite a few years younger. If you place prime Federer vs prime Djokovic, maybe Federer has the slight lead. Federer is still king of grass court tennis as well.
that grunting made it really hard to watch i bet it was anoying for pierce to play listening to it
The more they learn about T8 the more they distance themselves from him . All of them . This guy is very smart .

I love Nick. Nice guy..very articulate..and yeah... definitely misunderstood. It's a pressure sport that you are going through all by yourself.
Piers breaking a mega sweat and Nick is sitting there in a hoodie 😂 Love you guys!
These two have great chemistry together. Love seeing how much Nick made piers sweat!

I am afraid that Piers can get a heart attack.. he's puffing a lot
I'm punching the air in delight
Haha Piers and Nick together is gold
Nick’s a top bloke - so funny. The bromance gets stronger each time!
The groaning was what put you off Piers 😂
Piers is actually alot better than I expected! 11 points against a champion!? Well done!
Remarkable match on centre court, but it was clear from the start who would come on top
I’m watching from USA Great to see you having fun Piers. Breathe a little more when you’re exerting yourself.😀😀
Nick Kyrgios grunts no matter what ball he’s slamming 😂
Table tennis rocks!
This may be my very favourite episode I have ever watched because of the ping pong at the end. We all got to see how competitive you are and also what a good sport you ended up being. I appreciate your content always. ❤️🔥

I personally have played tennis about 20 years and it is definitely the best sport that translates into other racquet sports. If you can play tennis well you can play table tennis, badminton squash etc. but if you play another one of those sports well it doesn’t translate to tennis at all
@fzambetta75
Күн бұрын
@@seancarroll5803 , I suppose the devil is in the detail of what do you mean by "well" in tennis and the sports you are moving to :) For full disclosure, I have been playing table tennis for about 12 years and I am still an active veteran player playing tournaments in my state. Spin takes a life of its own in TT. While obviously being very important in tennis and racquet sports, the spin generated by different kind of rubbers in TT has no equivalent with pretty profound impacts on how you need to play and train. Also, while endurance plays a huge role in tennis. that is not as important in TT, which is all about being explosive in relatively shorter bouts (it's kind of an HIIT profile). Having said that, I suspect that matters very little for a garage ping-pong player like Piers while Kyrgios, having been a pro tennis player, will be able to transfer some of his skills to a multitude of sports.

@@fzambetta75 yes im talking about the general person, if you know how to play tennis well then that translates best into the other racquet sports (I know it did for me), whereas my mother who was an amazing badminton player in Ireland when she was young cant play any of the other racquet sports I mention, my friend who plays squash and table tennis really well has no ability when it comes to Tennis. Tennis is easily the hardest to master but if you can then you can hold your own in other racquet sports

I’ve always liked Nick Kyrgios, more so after this interview. This geezer is so natural in front of a camera, as both a tennis player obviously, and interviewing / interviewed !
I had this on in the background while taking a nap and got hecking confused about what I had on when I heard all the moaning in the end..
Without fail, Piers has to always bring it back to himself with a pat of the back! “What’s your favourite pub?” “OH yeah when I was doing something of self importance I used to go to that pub too” FFS 🤦♂️
Both great guys !!; here from rio brasil
Nick, is that you?! Kidding, I happy to see the change, the maturity, the humility but it is still authentically Nick. Goodluck on the comeback.
