Say what you want about Novak, but he speaks and truly lives his truth… Roger and Rafa are legends, but Novak’s mind is on a different level!
One thing I will always thank Novak is for letting us see what he stands for. Roger and Rafa got away with not doing that and that’s ok, but I like how much more real of a person Novak is to the public eye.

I wouldn’t say any player is more ‘real’ than the other. Novak definitely has more controversial opinions and is more outspoken which attracts a passionate audience. I always identified my favourite of the three by playstyle and just on court demeanour so i always liked Rafa the best. Whoever you choose to support is valid i don’t think there’s anything dishonest about the three of them

See thats interesting because i do agree with you about Novak but I wouldn’t immediately credit him to being more real then Rafa or Roger because it’s just a matter of character. I highly respect Rafa and Roger for not involving politics, controversy and opinionated topics into the sport of tennis, whilst also praising Novak highly for acknowledging what he thinks is right! Neither Novak, Rafa or Roger fake their character and identity and that should be praised across the board: 3 legends of the game, all just as real as you can hope for of figureheads of the game of tennis!
No one can argue against Novak being the GOAT. Part of being the GOAT is not just winning, but longevity. His physical fitness and preparedness is the leading factor for his greatness. Just put the numbers aside for one second and look at what he's still doing at 37. Simply amazing.
two guys who couldn't be more different - but both authentic and look how well they get along (now) - having backbones ;-) love you Novak and respect Nick! Novak is so much more than a great athlete, role model as a human being!

When it comes to Novak, you can tell the way he thinks is on the same wavelength as legends of other sports, like Kobe Bryant and Tom Brady. These guys are just wired differently and what they have all done has been truly incredible to witness

It's fantastic how Nick gets these athletes to talk so honestly about their life journeys where no journalists can do so. It's because he's one of them. Here they are, live in front of 17,000 fans in a stadium, talking about their most private thoughts and fears, in a way that they would never talk to media! Nick's a natural. And Novak's a real human being.

I found tennis watching Federer and fell in love with it when I seen Novak play and he has been my hero since. I will never understand why he has to be the villan and not get the respect he deserves by fans wherever he goes. He deserves respect, what does he have to do to get that respect from fans throughout the world. I will always believe in you Novak Djokovic!
I truly believe that Novak is the nicest person out of the big 3. Love them all but I don't get even the faintest hint of arrogance from Novak. Just a wonderful, genuine guy. Absolute bloody legend. Nick is, too.

It would be nice of Novak if he would pay some taxes. All the rest of the Big Four pay taxes in their home countries. This money is nice, and it is a nice thing to do, in that it can be used to fund essential services in your home country. And all this foundation BS that Novak & Nick speak about, is just a front to cover for their greed in not want to pay a proper tax rate, like the rest of us pay. Novak's foundation is not his own money, it is donations made be other people, from the foundation website, one of the previous years the biggest fundraiser was an Italian guy who cycled form Italy to Belgrade. Be nice, pay some tax back. Like the rest of us pay taxes.

When it comes to Novak Djokovic, every feel obligated to start the sentence with - "Not a fan..." like if that was some kind of verbal tick they can't get rid off...lol If you gonna say something nice or even neutral about the man, just be consistent and say it without adding all of these "ifs" and "buts"...

Very few people have ever got Novak to be so open about his inner self. Nick obviously has that amazing ability. Perhaps it is because Nick is not 'the enemy' like the media are.
The difference between a real person and a character of a champion is very important to understand.

What a very humble man Novak. I always love watching him playing. I'm a big fan from NZ. I also love watching Nick and wish him winning, but man! He made me laugh so much when he complained and argued with the umpires on the courts. Love him, so entertaining 😆 Would love to see these 2 playing doubles 😊

Good interview. I like how he just accepts his flaws, every person in life has them. There is no such thing as the perfect human being. Novak has a good heart and will always be my inspiration in life. He deserves nothing but respect how he handled things on and off the court. People can debate all they want, he is the undisputed GOAT of tennis. People will look at the records and his name will be on top of every single one of them. And there is absolutely nothing his haters can do about it.
He is not just the tennis GOAT, but sports GOAT as well. This man has fought adversity and unpopularity (for no reason) and beaten convincingly 2 others considered GOATs.

Kyrgios evolved a lot. He is still a firecracker but he's way more mature and agreeable than he used to be and It's amazing to see this better side of him
