First time I seen this. Your comment was twelve years ago.🤣 This interview gave me a better respect for Nick.

Interviewer seems chill without any agenda, so Nick seems to be more comfortable in this interview. Nick is very fluent and speaks a lot. Really good interview.

He is much more mentally sharp in this interview - you can see also he's very confident.

@Ihab23 What Nick Diaz meant was this. If you train at a high level, then there are always risks (injuries) and to train with friends or family(brother), then that injury is either you or the other person. If that person is hurt, then obviously you will not feel good about that. One of the worse is that the person has to pull out of a fight due to injury you inflicted, because that is not positive to a relationship. Hence, the life of a MMA fighter. To enjoy doing all that is not easy.

Good interview, I like Nick's determination it's seems real. So many fighters have fake "win or die" attitude before fight interviews and spew their fake lines while tumbling upon their words. Diaz is the real deal.

Lol, you don't really need a verbose interviewer for Nick Diaz. You just ask him a simple question, and off he goes.

Nick's a real nut job but I'm a big fan of his. Diaz puts on some of the best fights and the only time he loses is when someone stalls him out and holds onto position. War Diaz!

The money is just not worth it in MMA. Diaz you mentioned you wanted to take a Boxing Match at super middle weight. At 27 you are in your prime. Go where the money's at. I will pay to see you against Carl Froch.

To add, fighters get pulled from a fight very often as can be seen, like recent UFC events, due to injury. Well, these injuries came from training hard for an upcoming fight. They may happen on there own (self inflicted), but a lot of the times come from the training partner, because when training hard, the intensity may be about 80-100% intensity. The fighter sometimes shrugs off small injuries to hide them so the partner wont feel bad. The end may be a poor performance or a failed medical.

That's a classic...

many people think nick is stupid. i disagree with this, and think he made many valid points in this interview. i think what makes nick come off as stupid sometimes is that he does not have great speech skills. in other words he sometimes has difficulty turning his ideas into words. i have the same problem somtimes especially when talking to people i don't know let alone an interview that will be on tv.

credit to Diaz, the interviewer was not very good and he stayed patient and polite maybe hes starting to, dare i say it, "play the game"?

nick used to go for a run at like three in the morning when he was 15 all the time he was a loner as a kid
