i always wanted a 3 way rap battle where each rapper is fighting against the other 2. they kind of did that with james bond vs austin powers, but i would really like a free for all thing!

This will probably always be my favorite ERB, because it really feels like they had a genuine heart-to-heart before writing the battle. And looking at what they made of it, I'm just really glad how it turned it out.

They mean "authentic, just as it is, real" and "not profane, straight forward, nice". The comparison between this and the original rap battle of these guys is insane to me. The music, tone of voice, and word usage just makes this one a whole lot more intense and personal, these guys have improved so much over the years and it’s obvious through this video, but it’s left an impact on them and it can be noticed through this rap. I hope these guys are doing better now

The subtle change of all the backgrounds changing to the battles makes it so much better

The first scene of this battle is awesome. It’s all in one shot, well-acted, and perfectly executed. That must have taken some serious planning and coordination

For those of you who don't know, while they were on hiatus Peter got his wife pregnant and Llyod has been working on his own projects. So they may not be making new videos for a while but they didn't set out to end their channel.

Now i needed this in quarantine.

After reading the comments, I decided to pay attention to the backgrounds. It really is clever. As many have noted, the backgrounds apply to each of them (i.e. EpicLloyd with the Skrillex background while NicePeter had Mozart, and even Dante had Tesla from Edison Vs Tesla) but what I really appreciate is what comes before and after that. The whole first verse for NIcePeter is a genius transitional longshot from them at the computer to a handoff to the editing system where they're now in front of a green screen. We then literally pass through the fourth wall into their "pre-edited" world of ERB. Once EpicLloyd's verse begins, we transition to a full black background, now completely within the "realm" of ERB. Through both of these parts, it's about the making of ERB and about the rest of the crew (kudos to featuring them by the way). The backgrounds don't start until just over a minute in, with the first background being Gotham City. This coincides with EpicLloyd bringing up "that is NOT a cool way to play Batman!" Now it's a true ERB of NicePeter vs EpicLloyd. As soon as NicePeter mentions the editors and we're back to acknowledging the fourth wall again, the backgrounds disappear. We come back out of the fourth wall and reverse the transition back to them seated at the computers. This is some absolutely brilliant direction and storyboarding for this rap. Really, really well done!

The tag is the "Allrounda Beats" voice clip; beat producers put tags in their work as a watermark, basically, and they can remove the tag when someone pays them to use the beat.
