Must be really tough strapping the pads on each night. These guys are competitive beasts. Money alone isn't satisfying enough when you're getting dunked on nearly every game like SJ are.

It took Buffalo and Columbus to embarrass them enough to let go of Samsonov...they have been solid ever since. It's great that they're finally playing 60 minutes of hockey. Gonna be interesting how they play vs. Avs, Oilers, Canucks and Jets.

wrong BOZO! the game was on TSN with Canadian announcers. but Sportsnet always uses the US channel for its highlights rather than its competitor TSN - because TSN owns the rights to the games they broadcast.

We need him to score one on a tie break, one when it matters overall, and this year he has been doing that, or at least getting points on those situations. The whole team played well last night, so that's a big plus

meh. disagree completely. the pass wasnt that hard. it was Rielly reading the play that made the pass a possibility.

Leafs find themselves in 3rd place in the division. Their usual do the bare minimum and lack of consistent game effort just wasn't enough, now they need to bare down even against the bottom dwellers.

Flexing your muscles against teams like this is always a good sign to see in a contender, and for the Maple Leafs it feels oddly better since it looks like an attitude change from top down.

Sharks will be selling players before the deadline, there's no way this team stays together after this dreadful season, gotta gut them and start from scratch, rebuild from within around prospects and draft picks, it'll take a couple more years of disappointing results before they're a playoff team again but there's absolutely nothing worth salvaging from this lineup.

The cup is won to the ones deserving of it. The Leafs have not been "deserving it" since 1967. I am a Leafs fan. I am bound to not see this team win a Cup for dunno how many more years, but I still like the sport and like seeing the team win. Why are you being so defensive in that regard?
