That was a quality finish by Laf on the second goal.

I swear, when Bobrovsky gets into his Zen mode, he is unbeatable lol, what a goalie he is, one of the best in playoffs.

@ScottStenlund But, when you see so few shots in multiples games against Boston and only give up 1 or 2 goals in each of them, it kinda skews the numbers a bit. If the Cats allowed 30 or so shots each game and the same result was achieved, his numbers would probably be comparable to Shesterkin's right now. But sure, he can absolutely be beaten. Just not tonight. ;)

​@herpderp9108 this, 100%. I am ashamed to say I doubted when he struggled his first year in Florida, but it was quite an adjustment to a totally different system. I questioned the massive contract with such promising prospects on the cusp, but look where they are now. A bird in hand better than two in the bush. With a Cup here, Bobrovsky would likely be Hall of Fame bound. Maybe without too. Some just don't want to face reality that he's one of the best goalies of his time. Imagine being the shortsighted foolhardy Flyers GM who traded him for not even a first-round pick, good grief.

The only saving grace for Lafreniere is that the goal ultimately didn’t matter. He’ll get over it quickly. I still don’t know what he was thinking. His stick was in no shape to intercept the shot.

What a Game By Bobrovsky, You can only tip your Cap 🧢 The only bright thing for the Rangers is that Lafreniere Scored, Unfortunately into the Wrong Net

As a Canes fan, watching this game has 100% convinced me that the only way we can get over the hump is to get an absolute ringer in net. I see so much of the Canes in how Florida plays, both teams being dominant at 5v5 compared to the Rangers. But the biggest difference is that Florida gets timely saves to preserve their momentum, whereas we give up leaky goals that destroy our momentum.

You need more than a good goalie -solid defense also…get rid of any of the remaining RANGERS on your team -TONY DEANGELO, BRADY SKEIJI …it might be time to find a really good head coach that won a Stanley CUP AND WAS LIKE JOHN COOPER

An intense game; was expecting a goal for New York during that big stretch where they went fast and aggressive, but things happen. Good game, Cats, from a Leaf fan.

Sergei Freaking Bobrovsky: 1st Star of the Game. He's looking like prime Jonathan Quick in those '12 and '14 Kings Stanley Cup runs. If he keeps standing on his head, Florida's going to be very tough to beat.

Depending on if the Rangers respond well on Friday, this honestly (if they go down 0-2 heading to Florida) could be a sweep. Not that in balanced emotional states I'd think the Cats were that much better skill wise, but the Rags looked miserable after the own goal and mental toughness is an even bigger factor in a seven game series than just athletic skill. Rangers have not faced a team like this yet, and the only true competition they had in the Metro was in the Hurricanes who are the farthest thing from violent.

Bob dialed in and Florida to intense for the Blue Shirts. Other than some glimmers of shine for NY, Florida was/is the better team overall.

Happy that Florida beats the NYR & their Referees ... about the 2nd goal (the one who was called back) was a good goal ... the #55 of the NYR pushed the Florida Player on the NYR Goalie ... things are going quite weird in Playoffs ... especially since Las Vegas entered the League to finally get the Big Price last year ... we know that the Refs has Issues since the good old days of the NHL.

Вообще по составу Флорида круче. Но у Рейнджеров есть то, что нету в Флориды. Это запал. Если Панарин и Ко в кураж войдут они любого сметут. Ждем феерии от рейнджеров быть или не быть.

Poor espn announcers sounded so sad watching the rags get shut out. Uh oh its not the caps or soft goal tending canes anymore. Even when the relentless checking of Florida lets up for a chance at the net bob is there waiting absolutely locked in. Whoever thought this series was going to be easy has had their little red and blue blinders on. Florida thrives with the challenge. Go ahead and get physical too lol they'll just beat you down harder. Igor better eat his wheaties. Hard enough carrying your team without them trying to score on you too😂😂😂
