Refs showed up too. 2 interference calls were shaky at best, especially the first one. But the Panthers mostly looked like the better team all series. I just hate when the refs clearly swing the momentum.

@@Mangos4uce Because in both cases the defenseman prevents any chance of avoiding contact because they are holding the Florida player. If you ignore that fact then your argument has weight the problem it is clear is both cases. I have no concern on the outcome as I don't care who wins. Just wish the officials would do their jobs rather then play favorites and actually allow the players to decide it rather then paly a massive role in the outcome. They gave the Jets game 1 of that series, it was handed to them by the officials rather then the teams settling the game. With missed calls and made up calls.

After the prescience killer instinct save by Bobrovski on game 2, it was more than clear the Panthers would go to round 2.

No matter what fan you are, that's tough for Tampa to lose 2 goals from interference in a game that likely would have been a 3-3 tie or maybe a 3-2 lead for them otherwise. But you play the hand you're dealt and it wouldn't be as big a deal if they didn't lose 3 games in a row. So nobody to blame but themselves but I can empathize with the frustration of seeing that. Both calls were right in my eyes though both weren't easy calls. I could see some refs going the other way, but the way I see the players were both not being actively shoved into Bobrovsky and just unfortunately were making contact with him at inopportune times.

Cats vs lightning was the best series so far! I love the panthers moving forward but I still don’t understand the GI rule.. Bobrovsky stole the show, he was insane! Even if the reffs on the last game were arguably more on the side of the panthers, I still believe the panthers were the strongest team in the end! GL against Boston:)

I don't know what the outcome would have been, but both of Tampa Bays goals that were disallowed were good goals! The referees impacted the outcome of this game in the worst way possible! Obviously the league wanted Florida to win fairly easily, considering the Rangers sweep and the likelihood of Boston and Carolina finishing in 5 games! Embarrassing refereeing !!!!!

3 goals on rebound Florida and 2 no-goals Tampa. It was the end of an era.

Goaltending interference rules have changed. I thought this rule was to interfere with the goalie. Congrats to Panthers. The better team won.

Lightning needs major changes. They’re a top heavy fringe playoff team that lacks defensive structure. The goalie interference calls were total bullshit.

The Panthers were INDEED the better team in this series and deserved to win and move on. However that disallowed goal towards the end of the second period was a blown call. If there really was goalie interference on that play it was case of stretching the TECHNICAL definition of it to a new level. On a Canadian sports channel A FORMER GOALIE said that goal should have been good and that the contact with Bobrovsky was incidental. WOULD NOT have changed the series result but it was going overboard on a technicality.

Bolts defense like in regular season is a mess, no wonder why Panthers take them out so quickly... See you in next season, Tampa, we need a new strong version of you

Man on that overturned Cirelli goal Bob grabbed his skate and then lost his position for the shot. I think that was a deliberate move by Bob to cover his bases.

Florida too good tonight. Florida's captain with a pair. Tampa's goalie was not his best, giving up two good rebounds which led to goals. Florida Boston series should be a good one. Looking forward to it!

It has been all season with AHL caliber talent outside of 3 guys. Dumba sucked and seemed to be on the ice for many goals against.

Both were weak goalie interference calls. You see more contact than that all the time that are allowed. Not that it matters because they were never going to win the series anyway.
