I really like it but try to keep the trades and the signings realistic as I personally think it will make it so the years somewhat realistic. Can’t go out there and just sign the best players rn as AZ are shit rn. As you get better than yes but I like to see the young players develop

Why is it cool? It seems so extra. Why not just say I will stay $10 million under the cap for the entire franchise and not feel like you need to set up something to physically prevent yourself from breaking your own rules?

@@tateanderson213 it also allows you to be UNDER the cap, so the floor is 60M, you can have 50M in actual cap and the salary cap boosts it to 60 without messing up your contracts.

Fun fact you probably don’t care about: in the created players, there was chaz Lucius and jake Sanderson. Both of them last weekend actually went head to head in 2 big rivalry night games. They ended up splitting the 2 games last weekend, with University of Minnesota(I hate them) and University of North Dakota(I love them). I was able to go to the second game in which North Dakota won, and both players got a point. I belive Lucius got a goal, and Sanderson had an assist. I got to witness this firsthand, as I went to the game. That was my first time going to the Ralph Englestad Arena in Grand Forks North Dakota in 7 years. I was glad to watch North Dakota get a win against the team I hate the most. You probably don’t care about any of this, I just thought it was kinda cool!

to be honest, i like the “bad” depth player trade value thing because it feels more realistic seeing as gm’s irl make horrific and dumb moves

I just finished a airzona gm mode won 2 cups in 9 years. Tried to make it super realistic didn't stack my team when all those FA came off the books did about a 3-4 year rebuild and made my team quite good from drafting and a couple signings once the young guys developed

Play Ho-Sang in the Nhl on like the 2nd or 3rd line he actually does pretty good lol. He put up back to back 50 point seasons for me on my Arizona franchise

Vejmelka and Hutton should swap overalls, or make Hutton like a 77 or something

I hate how in every 22 franchise mode he wants beard but boosts his team in the off season, and he's always surprise he does good😭

NHL franchise mode does a lot of things right but they have things that they need to improve/fix and a lot more stuff to add. The thing I hate the most is the top 15 draft. EVERY YEAR I see the first rounder always going to someone who was supposed to have slot 8 through 15.. They need to fix that bug. If you want first overall just trade for like 3 first round picks that are around the 10th-15th spot and you have a high chance of getting first overall.

I had a medium Franchise goalie 51 overall i made that he was always starter in the ahl took him 6 years to go to the nhl and change the stats to backup goalie and didn’t get better than 82 overall

Honestly at the deadline the bottom 6 guys for firsts and whatever is realistic

A reason why McDavid isn’t scoring much may be because his defensive awareness is too high, i made it like 82 and he put up mcdavid like numbers

Do you turn down the prospect quality for the first year or 2 when there’s a ton of real players? That makes it way less likely you’ll see a medium franchise generated guy at the top of the draft

@@klepps23 I didn’t say can you turn it down because I know for a fact you can. I asked do you? Tactix is USING his “custom draft class” if you want to call it that, because those DONT EXIST in NHL. All you can do is create players, and if they’re young enough they are eligible for the entry draft, so all his created prospects are entered into the year 1 and 2 entry draft. But obviously that’s not an entire class, even if you made an entire class of real prospects the game still generates random prospects for some unknown stupid EA reason. The “solution” to this is turning down the prospect quality, something they introduced last year to somewhat combat this, even though it’s still not ideal. But I’ve notice turning this down massively reduces the chance of seeing a generated franchise level player. So that’s I asking IF he turned it down, not CAN he because I know you can. Your response makes no sense whatsoever.

Currently playing ARI rn as well. signed Kahun Ryan, Vatanen. Also signed Rask and traded him and Stralman for Knight and Montour. Really unrealistic but I anit complaining. Crouse-Gally-Ryan worked well. Kahun-Hayton-Fischer as well. Also traded for Wood and Cizikas for 4th line. Made playoffs first year which was not the plan lol.
