in my experience having an elite goalie really helps. Without one I was wildcard at best even though my team was sick offensively and defensively but then I signed shesterkin in FA and we instantly won a cup he was unreal.

Would like to see an expansion draft or fantasy next would be neat. Or The jets or wild

Whatever team you pick to start a franchise with next, set a challenge for yourself to not be able to sign any players over the age of 30. Would be cool to see more new name players than Kane/Crosby/Ovi etc. always being signed

I’ve had different goalies 5 years in a row with each one winning the vezna and going somewhere else after playing terribly, you can say it’s the defence but I’ve switched coaches mid season an had goalies totally turn it around

I think you forget to check if the coaches have a good chemistry fit before signing. Gotta scroll down and see if they fit your players. Usually a coach with 64% or higher is what you want from my experience

Bro didn't even need to trade the backup, he could've grown in the AHL.

Jiricek is the reason you have -2 chemistry, he doesn't fit on the 3rd pair with your coaching staff

Dude you gotta get better assistant coaches. They effect your special teams and I’ve noticed having As makes a big difference.

For your next Sim, you should do an actual rebuild. No FA, only a couple trades a year, and build a team from the draft. Set rules, like you can only have 4 FA's on your team and 2 trade targets, the reset have to be drafted by you

Trade lakso or play him 2nd line. 2 snipers on one line dont work.
