Once Ty Voit reaches NHL potential, I don’t think you should trade him. In a recent franchise I did Voit ended up leading the league in assists on year with 72. He could grow in your sim

One of the most exciting drafts I've seen in awhile! I would've been so sad if you hadn't gone for that second overall after Misa went first haha, glad you did. The third round pick was crazy too

i think its best draft ive ever seen in nhl in quality 84 ovr franchise at 2nd itself is crazy but the 70 med elide 3rd round just makes it insane

Let’s go another franchise mode episode W I just started a Blue Jackets franchise

if u want the team to perform better, you need to see how your lines do every 10 games or so, sometimes youll have a line or two or a defensive pair thats highly in the minuses. switch up the pairs to find the best combo for plus minus n points.

watching this as u were going through the prospects i seen liam kilfoil at around pick 70. i played with him and went to camps with him when i was 15. crazy to see him in chel

Just a tip - instead of throwing away all of your 7 round picks when the other team says quite close to fair value, give them one of the guys you drafted in round 7 that won’t make it. It’s enough value to persuade them to trade

I think it’d be cool if you traded for some more Minnesota Gophers alumni (especially Knies’ old teammates like Cooley, Snuggerud, Faber)

Next franchise mode rule: you can only offer the player 1 year less or more then what they ask for. I love the $1.6x6 on Knies but it is unrealistic af lmao

I’m doing a Calgary franchise and it was 2028 and I noticed that Chicago traded bedard and then I traded colarado the team that he got traded to and I traded for him for 2 medium elite prospects and two first round picks and now I have bedard and he is a 98 overall

You should add a rule where you can't trade for the top 4 draft pick at the draft. Last top 4 pick that were traded at the draft were in 2002 and 2001. In other words, it doesn't happen anymore. (:

As a bruins fan, I agree. I think starter high, 82-83 would be appropriate. Could even bump him to elite med, as the thing that stands out to me the most is his potential, I think he could end up solidifying himself as a very capable starter in the next 3-5 years.

Whoa what a draft. In my Be a pro, bedard gets selected 4th to the Sharks. Sharks end up signing Matthews, so he and Bedard have been tearing up the league a few seasons later

Next franchise mode have fog of war on to make it more of a challenge and to spice it up a bit

I hate when guys cheese the system on these games. A 21 year old that has top 6 potential is not going to sign a 5 or 6 year deal for 1.5 million. Youre going to have to offer more than he’s worth now to make it worth him signing for long term.
