Kyler had DeAndre Hopkins - who when traded to Arizona everyone said he was a top 3 WR in the league - so he had a guy like “this”

Rome is an amazing receiver, and and even better person. I would know, I’ve never met him.

The only unfortunate thing for Rome is their are so many receiving options for Caleb but only one ball.

@@user-ep4ze2ys9mit 100% matters because Fitzgerald was NOT the same player. At that point in his career he was just a guy. It’s not like Steve Young gettin Rice in the middle of his career, it’s more like the Mets getting Willie Mays or the Braves getting Ruth, they weren’t the same.

The DeAndre Hopkins disrespect is CRAZY…that’s why I don’t pay any mind to these guy’s opinions. Then got the nerve to mention Pearsall and not Malik Nabers

I'm not convinced Caleb Williams is going to be successful in the NFL. I've seen a lot of QBS like him who come out of college with a lot of hype and fall flat on their faces in the NFL. The Bears have a horrendous track record of developing top 1st round QBs. Trubisky, the #2 overall pick in 2017. Bust. Justin Fields, the #11 overall pick in 2021. Bust. I won't be surprised if Caleb Williams turns out like Trubisky and Fields, to be honest.

Totally different offensive coordinators Trubisky one year starter in college, fields can't read defenses and should have sit ,had bottom 5 oline

@@CoffeeeNBears What I do know is that the Bears drafted 1st round QBs in 2017 and 2021 and failed to develop either one - both busts. What I do know is that Matt Eberflus coached defense, he has never coached offense, he has never been a head coach at any level before and that his record at the helm of the Bears is 10-24. What I do know is that Caleb Williams has serious flaws in his game, and not everyone who covers the NFL believes he will succeed in the pros. What I do know is only a fool predicts a rookie WR (Odunze) is going to break NFL rookie records, before he's even been through an NFL training camp. What I do know is that rookie QBs often struggle in the NFL. What I do know is that Bears haven't won a playoff game for more than a dozen years.

@andrewbird57 nobody hailed Mitch or Justin as a generational talent. Many questioned the Trubisky pick, including myself. The Lions sucked for decades, a complete joke. Does that mean they still suck? Nah man, that's flawed reasoning. Any team can turn it around and the Bears are poised in an excellent position to do so. To deny that is to be willfully blind.
