Reminds me of my new husband, we met online, I was 58 and he 60. I have white hair too. Thats what he liked, and the fact that I was always positive and nice each time we talked. He asked God for a woman of faith. He was a gentleman and very sweet We've been married 1 yr. I love growing together and getting to know each other. ♥️

...Been married twice. Trust me, 'y'ain't missin' nothin'. Freedom from entangling alliances is wonderful - it's peaceful - it's productive. Both marriages only cost me six years of my life, thankfully. I wish this couple the very best, but not for me - no sir - never again.

I noticed that too! 😁 I heard of another couple who met when the wife was single at 70 and the husband was 61. They were married for 30 yrs. The husband died at 91 leaving his wife of 100 still living. I was shocked. I think they went to Emmaus SDA in Brooklyn, NY if I'm not mistaken.

Steve, One year ago I met the man of my dreams!!! He is the sweetest, most caring, compassionate person I have ever met!!! He was 68 and I was 70 when we met. I am a Great-Grandma and he has one 23 year old adult child that he is extremely close to and he has a young son still living at home. His wife who he loved dearly for 30 years passed away over 3 years ago. Neither of us were looking for anyone when we met so it took awhile for us to really get together but we kept being drawn to each other. Now we are both DEEPLY in love with each other. It's NEVER too late to fall in LOVE 💖💖

My Mom always said people worried too much about their children. Suffering when you're young is good for you, she said. It immunized your body and your soul, and that was why she ignored us kids when we cried. Fussing over children who cry only encouraged them, she told us. That's positive reinforcement for negative behavior, and I understand her point of view but it is different from the way Steve raised his boys. Do you live with your family?
