This was the same kind of connection my husband and I had at ages 16 and 15 when we started dating. We knew we would always be together and we were until his death in August of this year. He left me with enough love to last a lifetime.

What a story! And finding their daughter was “heart moving!” What loving people & their daughter, so very sweet natured, looks just like her mother…their smile! I’m sure you grew up with loving parents too we don’t want to forget to give great credit, respect, & gratitude for them!

This is a tear jerker....FOR REAL!!!! I am so glad they found THEIR DAUGHTER!!!!!

The most moving story on this Christmas day! What a wonderful family. Bravo to Dennis for initiating the search not only to find his love but also their daughter. Bravo to the daughter for accepting them with open arms.

So happy for them. This should be a movie. My teenage love came back to me in 2013 lost touch again then in 2016 found each other again. Sadly I lost him one week before Valentines day 2018. One week after his birthday. Cried several times a day for two years everyday........Still miss him everyday.

I don't believe forgiveness factors into this story. They were so young and did what they thought was best for their baby. No forgiveness is necessary in this beautiful love story,

It was her parents that made her give the baby up for adoption & they also kept them apart her parents forbid her to see him & told him to stay away. They was on Steve Harvey a few years ago & told more of the story

I saw their story on Steve Harvey a few years ago. I’m so happy they’re still together, and are able to continue to share their story. Most importantly I’m glad they have the chance to spend the time they lost with their daughter. ❤️❤️❤️

You are more BLESSED then ever imaginable seeing that your Biological Parents conceived you out of PURE DIVINE LOVE that isn't very common ❤ You don't show much enthusiasm which really is perplexing. My husband was given up for adoption and has been told his Parents were not able to afford keeping him. He I'm sure would be over the moon if this was his experience.....until today he doesn't know his birth Parents and has been handed off to several care givers throughout his childhood.

Exactly how much enthusiasm does she need to show to SATISY what YOU think she should show? If you noticed her birth moms mannerisms she’s way more reserved then her husband. So the daughter takes after her birth mom

yep they are SOOOOOO minnesoooohtan lol. Reserved Norwegian Lutheran culture up north here. I'm from Chicago originally and have been here in MN for 30 years and I STILL have a hard time with how reserved folks are lol. It is a great great great place to raise a family and to work and the summers and falls are like no other place in the US. This was a wonderful story to air - such a wonderful happy story.
