This is the most colourful world cup I have ever seen.

Remember this like yesterday, was working and living in a vineyard in a place called Mildura in Australia while I was travelling around, listening to it on the radio in the caravan.

Yeah I remember listening to the start of this game on the radio with my Dad on the way home from my Saturday morning cricket game. Great memories.

This was a great world cup I saw these world cup matches in video cassettes few months after it was over as it was not telecasted in Libya. After 1 year our family came back to India permenantly. I was 8 at that time pretty nostalgic.

I watched this match and I will never forget it, It was a great match for New Zealand

Unforgettable memories., getting up early in the morning to watch the matches., in India telecast time for matches in new Zealand was around 2.00p.m. Or 2.30.early morning and for matches in Australia it was about five a. M. It was becoming very difficult to attend morning shift after watching the match But for every cricket lover it was a treat to watch world Cup of 1992.,in India all eyes were on young and dashing sachin tendulkar., England and west Indies had kept two overs of their best bowler in the middle just to get out tendulkar., botham and Ambrose sent back tendulkar on an extra ordinary delivery., who could forget match winning inings in the semi final by inzamam and the magic spell by Wasim akram in the finals to win the world Cup for Pakistan., also remember the fantastic bowling by Dermot reev who bundled Pakistan for just 74runs., rain gave one point to Pakistan and entered into semi final., felt very sorry for South Africa for that pathetic system of d and s., south African team was deserving to play the semi final and winning final also.

This world cup bought the game of cricket to center stage

Many world cups were played and many more world cups will be played but 92 world cup would always be the best world cup. The most beautiful world cup ever played .Overcast weather, colourful jersey, beautiful stadiums, day night matches,rainy weather under light .Quality cricket, the great balance between bat and ball and fortunate are those who watched it that time and I am one of those lucky people who watched it..

One of the best!

This WC was so widely watched that cricket became a big game after that. All thanks to the Cable TV.

This is probably one of NZ's greatest ODI victories. Nobody gave them any chance before this game, and they ended up topping the table.

Best colourful world cup ever

Considering all the love and popularity this game has got, it is surprising to see empty seats in the aisle.. This was the opening game of the world cup.. Happening first time in colored jersey.. Hosts were playing.. it makes me think that the popularity of this game that we're witnessing is largely due to the increased media coverage.. isn't it?

New Zealand were very underwhelming before this World Cup started. So the expectations and excitement was pretty low.

25:10 - impressive that Dean Jones had averaged 48 from 125 matches in that era where an average of any thing above 30 used to be considered magnificent. He was a hidden gem. May his soul RIP He was probably not out at 26:48 .. play at 0.25x

Sorry, I am only going to be uploading New Zealand related videos at this stage.

Both Jones i.e. Andrew Jones & Dean Jones were unlucky to be dismissed in close calls. The umpire on both occasions was Pakistani umpire Khizr Hayat.

The match is never over in these matches which is real beauty of match
