    Rob Rage but this virus hasn’t been annual yet. At this moment, the daily death count of corona is way higher than the daily average of that of the flu, so it is worse. The death rate is about 20 to 30 times higher than that of the flu

  • @courtneyr4121

    @courtneyr4121

    4 жыл бұрын

    @Rob Rage so why are hospitals running low on beds and supplies when they don't during the annual flu? Is it because all medical workers are vaccinated against it and arnt at risk for dying themselves for helping others? If China didn't lockdown and let the billions of people go out during the biggest travel time (Chinese new year) and no one practiced social distancing or lockdowns then this virus would not only infect the entire world's population but it would kill a hell of alot more.

Lots of medical stuff fall ill due to lack of protective material. Heroes choose their destiny, victims not. Calling them for what they are too, will stop idealizing the figure of the hero, and help these other victims to get the support they need.

    Having a reporter here and there is a necessary evil. People in the U.S. and around the world need to see this. This is happening in America the country with the best of everything or so we thought. And just look at us. What a crying shame!!!! And this is not on just Trump this goes all the way back to the Clinton Administration. Hospital personnel, for profit hospitals, scientists all KNEW this was not a question of IF but WHEN. I knew back in 1998 when I started my nursing career. My period of adjustment took five minutes I became a prepper after listening to Dr. Michael Osterholm who has been sounding the alarm for years. I am angry with every administration who knew about how unprepared we are. I am angry that hospitals chose profits over spending money to purchase, stock pile and house PPE and equipment. Clinton started his globalization policies that put our manufacturing directly in the hands of China and the ensuing administrations continued turning a blind eye to this catastrophe. And the use of hydroxychloroquine being held back for more studies....SERIOUSLY!! It is an old drug! Been around since 1944. It has been prescribed for malaria, lupus and rheumatoid arthritis. ADDITIONALLY this has been prescribed to our troops as a prophylaxis for YEARS prior to deployment to countries with malaria. How much more time and study is needed to distribute this medication!!!! I knew back in December this was coming. I got my family prepared to deal with not seeing me as I planned to use an RV trailer and park it near my hospital and not bring this home to them. I also bought my own masks because I KNEW the hospital would not have enough masks and that it would be up to me to take care of myself. I saw this first hand with Katrina and every other disaster we have had where the Fed has had to respond. WE have to be proactive and do what we need to take care of ourselves and not rely on hospitals, local government or the fed to come in and save the day. Because they are always a day late and a dollar short.

And should watch international news to see what happens around the world so this wouldn’t be happening at this scale. Sad thing. Greetings from Europe.

    My placement hub is ICU and we are going to be called due to staff shortage even I have 6 more months to finish my nursing. I've seen patients with respiratory conditions that led to kidney and heart failure which the patient needs to be connected to a dialysis machine before that central line was needed it is inserted to the jugular by the neck. Nurses mainly look after everything from 3-6 medications plus the machine, changing the input and output liquids including drains or chatheters in situ. Stay safe all this is not a joke and look after your loveones. God Bless.

    one thing they haven't mentioned is that the ARDS (acute respiratory distress syndrome) which causes the deaths, can be caused by MANY things, and not just illnesses. But in all cases, chances of surviving can be quite low, no matter if corona is the cause or not. ARDS comes from a strong overwhelming case of pneumonia. In the past , it was most often seen in AIDS patients among others, but now, it is most often seen these days in corona patients.
