I never felt invulnerable to pathogens. I'm one of those anachronists. A fencer. 35 + yrs Respiratory Therapist. I've always accepted death. My colleagues had difficulty with this. I'm unsure why. When I step out in public now, my odds are actually even. It's the publics that has changed. When I walk those hall, stairways, patient rooms, stalls. I have just an equal opportunity to be where our people are unfortunately now.

@@gracelessnesss I never said this was all fake, did I? Good propaganda always has elements of truth in it. That's how propaganda works. You know the New York times has *repeatedly* covered up entire genocides, sold wars on behalf of banks & corporations, and run cover for dictators like Stalin, right? They don't care about "public safety". They're propaganda and have been for well over a CENTURY. You want to use appeal to authority? Fine. Let's do that. What do you say to all of the doctors and scientists all over the world who are coming out of the woodwork to call BS on all of this fear mongering and alarmism? What about the few brave politicians in Europe who are calling out the authoritarianism being snuck in under the guise of "pUbLiC sAfEtY"? How about all the health officials calling BS on the way organizations like the CDC are classifying CV deaths to artificially inflate the numbers? What do you say to all of THOSE experts? Oh, you weren't aware of that side of the story? Well of course not.. You get your "information" from corporate propaganda outlets like the NYT.

That'll save us all, Holly! You know what's "heartbreaking" for me? Me and everyone I know are now poor, hungry, and jobless because people like you just swallow everything you hear on TV and cheer on the destruction of the entire global economy. How many hundreds of hours have you spent doing REAL primary source research on this pandemic? How many think tank publications, policy papers, and scientific/medical journals have you read? Which other pandemics have you studied? How many experts that disagree with the mainstream narrative have you listened to? What do you know about the history of the W.H.O. and the C.D.C. ? What do you know about geopolitics and economics? No.. you just parrot what multinational media corporations tell you to parrot - and then smugly walk around with an "I'm better than you" attitude - even though you don't actually have any of your own knowledge whatsoever. It's all just appeal to authority and blind trust. You people are as transparent as Windex'd glass. ..but unlike you, I'm not going to assume that you're an evil person. I just think you're ignorant - in the truest sense of that word.

gonna share this as a doc, we dont wear gloves when we are not taking directly working with patients. if we go from room to room with gloves on we will transmit diseases from one patient to another (just because they both have covid doesnt mean they dont have other infections as well). this virus isnt absorbed through the skin so we wash our hands before taking off our masks and goggles. when people leave their houses with gloves on it gives them a false sense of security. they end up not paying attention to what they are touching and then they touch their face or phone etc. while other countries wear gloves on top of their gloves, we dont have that luxury here in the US.

I think I had this back in December 2019 and got it off and on for about a month after. It started on my month long vacation in Hawaii and carried on after I got home. My symptoms were nausea, vomiting, feeling of passing out, inability to stand, inability to hold my bowel, productive cough that produced so much mucus I couldn’t lay down, feeling of not being able to draw a deep breath, burning chest pain, chills and extreme fatigue. I wasn’t able to eat anything for weeks. I couldn’t eat more that a handful every two days and I was constantly vomiting and defecating blood to the point I was admitted to the ER. I had no idea what was going on and neither did the doctors. I’m still struggling with a cough but I’m not sick anymore, my lungs just aren’t at full capacity anymore so it’s easy for me to overexert myself THIS HAD TO HAVE STARTED A WHILE BACK.

I had this exact same thing in Minneapolis Minnesota in late January early Feb and now finally feel like I’m going to be ok. I had every symptom you listed. I caught it at the local big box gym in late January. I self isolated until I felt better (This feeling better only lasted 2!days) and when I returned to the gym I was absolutely shocked to see EVERYONE there was horribly ill. I couldn’t believe how many sick people were just going to the gym like normal. I watched this sweep through the gym the first week of February. I quit going immediately and have been in quarantine since. For weeks I thought I was dying every night fighting for oxygen. The gym from LA didn’t close it’s doors until ordered to on March 16th. That’s 6 weeks behind the curve. During Feb and early March when I had to go to the store for essential supplies everyone at the store was sick and coughing terribly. Now it’s early April and when I go to the store or in public NOBODY is sick anymore. Yet our MN governor says the peak won’t hit until July or August. If you look at our current numbers of people in icu beds the number has been flat for days.

The doctors, nurses, tecnicians, the clerical and office staff, the brave maintenance staff that have to clean up after, paramedic and ambulance workers, the people who have to cook meals for the staff as well as the patients. Those scientist and professionals who are working dsy and night to find a cure, and everyone who in any say is helping to combat this and to keep us safe.May God bless them all and keep them safe.
